Prior to relocating to the area at the end of the summer, I hadn’t secured a permanent address in the state. Confident in the fact that a local staffing agency would have open positions readily available for someone in my position to apply to, I decided to research my options. I approached the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce (North Carolina) in search of a recommended staffing agency. Sea Coast Staffing, Inc. and Alexis’ team came as a confident suggestion, and I sent my resume over immediately. The same day that I emailed Alexis my resume, she enthusiastically reached out in hopes of setting up an appropriate time to meet. Before I had even come in to visit, she had already made me aware of numerous positions that my background favored, and that gave me a huge sense of relief, knowing very well that I was entering into a relatively foreign job market. Both Alexis and her administration were professional in every contact that took place between us, and I had an interview, a compensation negotiation, and a new job in less than five days. Alexis is an honest and hard-working individual, and when you’re trying to earn a living, transparency in a contractor is one of the most important qualities that one could hope for. I am now in a permanent position with the original and only employer that I interviewed with, on my way to diversifying my portfolio further, and steadily immersing myself into the community. I couldn’t be more thankful for all of Alexis’ guidance and intuition through each step of the process that brought me to where I am now.

I had the pleasure of working with Alexis Hinds. I applied for a position I was interested in via linkedin and she contacted me to arrange a time to talk more about the position and the hiring company. Being that I am in the West Coast and I was employed full time you would think it would have been difficult to arrange but she was so flexible that the next day we met via Skype. What I loved most about Alexis is her enthusiasm. I moved to Wilmington in April due to my husband receiving a new job. I applied to seacoast later in the month and by the end of may I had a job and a good one! Eileen Allison was a a huge help to me. She is so personable and walks with you every step of the way. Seacoast as a whole really stays with you on your professional journey while you are on board with them. Whoever you are working with if they happen to be out of office someone else jumps in to help as best they can. Customer service was amazing, they have a large scale of opportunities, and a great name in the community. Overall, I am very pleased with their service and would recommend them to anyone from college age students to the retired!

When I came to my new city of Wilmington a year ago, I was overwhelmed and unemployed. A few months went by without the phone ringing until Sea Coast Staffing came up on my caller ID and the rest is history. They are great to work with. I am an independent filmmaker and a small business owner who often times can use a second income but needs to have some flexibility with my schedule. They are very helpful and are able to provide me what I need with extra work. I have worked in some really cool areas that I often would have not been able to visit. Wilmington can be a tough place to live and sometimes work can be hard to find. They take the stress out of finding work. I also enjoy temp work as it gets me out of my office and helps me get a different perspective on life. I’ve worked with some very interesting and cool people.
