Took a comforter and mans winter coat in recently. The comforter was laundered, and the coat dry cleaned. Went to collect items and was shocked at price - $34!!!!! Got items home and the zip on the coat would not budge. The filling in the comforter had all gone lumpy, particularly around the edges. Called and asked to speak to Manager. He called me back and I explained the situation. Agreed to go in next day. Manager was on phone when I arrived, so the lady there served me. She was very pleasant. Manager came in and asked what he could do to help. I said I had spoken to him yesterday. He acted like he had never spoken to me. Explained issues again. He said he would put something on the zip to help that. When it came to the comforter, he really didnt seem bothered. He ended by saying I would have to take it back to where I purchased it, as it was a manufacturing issue, nothing to do with him. To be honest, I was not impressed by him at all, and wouldnt return there. The lady was far more concerned than he was - maybe she should be the Manager instead. I also asked about the cost, and what portion was the comforter. He replied that it was $27! I find that extortionate for washing and drying. Would have been a lot less if I had taken it to a laundromat and done it myself. I could probably have resolved the issue with the filling going lumpy too. Not impressed.
