My hair nightmare come true. I came in for a trim and a color. My hair had already been previously lightened to a blonde and I was trying to go to a balayage with brown on the top and fade into a platinum blonde. The student I saw was very unprofessional and after 3 hours of being there, I left with YELLOW hair and a red copper top when it was supposed to be brown and fade into a platinum blonde. The student and teachers were both very rude when I tried to explain to them this is very far off from what I wanted. The front desk lady was also extremely rude and stated "well you know, it does take a few appointments to get exactly what you want." Might I remind you, my hair was already blonde and this should have been easily done in one appointment. I still paid for the cut and color as they insisted. I came in the next day for a redo so that this can be fixed. Two more students (different than the previous day) worked on my hair. They seemed to be more confident and sure of what they were doing; however, the teacher was once again very rude and stated "Wait werent you in here just last night? You didnt like it?" MY HAIR WAS YELLOW. After an hour of coloring and rinsing once again, I was brought to the sink to rinse out the dye. During this process, the stylist realized she didnt have the right toner and had to search through all of the inventory to find it. This took an additional 30 minutes of my head being in a sink with soaking wet hair....waiting. After all was said and I done, the coloring was still very off. When I had left, my hair was near black at the top and gray. GRAY. Not blonde. I now have to pay another salon to hopefully reverse the damage done. Worst experience Ive ever had.

Went in to get a haircut (close to closing, I will admit) and the woman who approached me gave me attitude and talked down to me. Although it was close to closing, I did not deserve to be treated the way I was. I simply asked for a haircut and was told "Uh, we close at 6." I knew it was close to closing, but did not assume it would take long to get my hair cut. I persisted and said "So... can I get a hair cut?" to which the woman looked at me incredulously and said "Hair cuts take an hour." Sure, I recognize that I was late, but Ive never had a hair cut take longer than 20 minutes in my life. It it takes longer because of the fact that the employees there are students, I completely respect that, but your staff could be more professional and explain the situation in a nicer way. Very unprofessional... will be going somewhere else for my services.

This is a school, students are LEARNING, so if you cant tolerate a possible mistake, I dont recommend going here. Otherwise, it is a GREAT place and an inexpensive salon! Everyone is so nice, they treat you professionally & kindly. My sister, kids & I have been going here for years. Ive gotten a couple of bad cuts (they will try to correct anything you dont like!) & some cuts I have loved, but have never had a problem with the service. Again, it is a SCHOOL, so keep that in mind when you schedule.

Went in for an eyelash extension fill....the girl glued my eyelid shut after I specifically said to be careful. The technician in training AND the instructor then spent the next half hour poking at my glued eyelids with tweezers. However, not to worry, the receptionist offered me a lofty 10 perfect off of my expensive service to assure my return. Never again.

Ive gotten my hair colored by Sam OHara twice now, and I am so happy with the great job she does, that I pre-booked with her again! She takes the time to chat with me, to fully understand what Im looking for, and offers great solutions. I love my color, and the way she styles my hair She is a great conversationalist too, which makes the time fly by!

One time I went because I needed them to fix a hair cut that another saloon cut my hair bad, they fixed the cut to look good. The next time I went I wanted something new and a lot shorter then Im used to doing. They did a great job and I will continue going back for every cut.

Im trying to grow my hair out, and the student messed up my "trim" so badly that I need to get 6 inches cut off. She also talked about how much she hated being there, told me about her piercings in intimate places (she brought up the topic), and family drama.

I was just there with some friends and I asked for an all over color that was light brown. I have dark hair so when she used bleach I wasnt at all surprised. She gave me highlights. Dont get me wrong, it looks good. Just wish it was what I asked for

Alina was my stylist and is awesome was very sweet and kept convo going. She made me blonde in a day after convincing me to take a sample of hair and see how my hair lightings and my hair wasnt even damaged. Also i didnt break bank only 50 bucks!!!
