GO TO SEPHORA!!! I was wrongfully accused of theft at this store. From the moment I walked in the door I was discriminated against. I was wearing a band hoodie and instantly felt a discerning eye upon me. I walked around the store with two items, which I put back after deciding it wasnt worth the money, and was stopped inside the door. After emptying the entire contents of my purse on the counter to display NONE OF THE ITEMS IN QUESTION were there, the lady confiscated an item I BROUGHT INTO THE STORE WITH ME. I told her I hadnt even been down the aisle that sells that and she said "well, we carry this brand in the store." This is not an exaggeration. I was pulled over by the cops, my car SEARCHED, and released when they found NOTHING on me from the store. After reporting back to the store, the cop called me on the phone and told me since they found the items in the store (where I said Id put it back) they couldnt do anything, but I am banned from this store for good. After sharing my story with a few friends, several of them expressed they have always felt discriminated by the store when theyve been in. I will never, EVER, go back to this or any other Ulta store, and I will tell everyone I know how horrible they are. Take your business, and your money, to Sephora next door. They are warm and helpful there ... something Ulta employees could learn something from. Shame on you Ulta!!!

HORRIBLE STORE GO TO SEPHORA NEXT DOOR. The employees in here are flat out rude and are very snobby and will discriminate. Was not greeted whatsoever when I walked through the door, the employee walking right past me to the checkout when I entered just gave me a once over and ignored me completely. Fine, whatever. Im probably the youngest customer in there at the time, Im 20, and the consultant asks and assists all the other older woman except me, again fine whatever I knew what I was doing anyways. I was looking for information on the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette and when I asked the GROUP of employees and a woman who looked like the manager about the launch date of the palette, they kept making me repeat myself as if I had no clue what I was talking about and one of the employees rudely told me it should be in sometime in April, she had no idea when and that she could not help me further. They all stare at me with no further information so I politely said thank you, I will take my buisness with Sephora where they will actually assist me when I shop there and not treat me with such insolence.

i never step foot in Ulta. The only times i HAVE to go inside is to pickup some Tarte shape tape concealer and the Carli Bybel palette. When i walk in and start looking around i notice the employees arent ever greeting anyone or asking if anyone needs assistance. one young lady did help me and turns out they were just out of stock for what i needed but she was sweet. I didnt leave empty handed so i was checking out and the lady asked for my phone # to join for points and i just didnt want to since i never come in here and i dont even like Ulta. she was so butthurt that i didnt. she didnt say thank you or even a smile. i always go to Sephora. completely different vibe. so much more friendly and bubbly employees there! i love it!

I am validated to see these reviews. I have always had a bad experience when I have gone into this store. I have found this store and salon to be over priced, and the check out service to be excruciatingly slow. While waiting in the checkout line I had to listen to each and every person get the same drawn out sales pitch over and over before they could check their purchase out. They want your name, address, zip, phone, some kind of Ulta card, and oh if you don’t have one, do you want to apply for one in line while everyone waits and waits? It was torture.

This Ulta is blah. Once in a blue moon will I have someone greet me or ask me if I need help with anything. Yes, thats called having good customer service and I honestly think this place has none. I didnt give it one star because ONE time...ONE time (out of the couple of times that Ive been there) I had a really nice young lady check me out and she was a pleasure to talk to. Sad I didnt catch her name. I only come to this location when I run out of products and cause its the only ulta thats close to me....otherwise I just go to the Sephora next door.

I adore the brand Ulta, but this store is awful. The workers are BEYOND snobby and if you decide to return something, they glare at you and whisper. Its my money and the product didnt do what it said it would. I asked them to match me for foundation, and I thought it was way to dark, but they insisted that it would look great. I get home, and my face looks orange. I go to return it, and they said "sorry, but we matched you fine." They continued to be rude to me for another 10 minutes and they finally returned it. Just go to sephora. honestly.

I agree with fourtsixand2 about the discriminated part. EVERY ONE in front or behind me looking at products was greeted, except me! It made me very angry, i just wanted to get out of there! Also, when i was walking around I saw a worker complaining about another customer right next to me, like it was nothing. THAT is something you do behind close doors not in front of other customers. UGH I AM NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN. LIKE OTHERS on here say, youre better off going to SEPHORA. ITS just next door.

I shopped at this store on Oct. 2 and used my check card to pay for the purchase. On Oct. 4, I checked my bank statement and they had charged my card twice for the same purchase. I notified this store and was told that it had happened to other people and to call corporate. I called them and was told that the charges would be taken off. It is now Oct. 12 and my account has still not been credited. If you shop at this store, use cash! I will never shop here again.

I dont know why everyone is so rude in there comments. I went and had my hair done and hands down Alexis is amazing in the hair salon area so made me feel so comfortable and really took care of my and my hair. She even helped me pick out all the products I needed. Also in the make up area everyone was so helpful and very kind. If I could give this more stars I would. I will definitely be coming back to this store and have already booked my next hair appointment.

Honestly, I prefer the Sephora right next door. I find it too be less overwhelming and I can find things I want. If shopping for drug store quality, I go to Walmart. Ulta just really does not do it for me. The staff all seems relatively new and useless for when I have a question. To me there is nothing special to keep me going, not even their selection. Sephora will be getting my $$ unless there is something Ulta has that Sephora does not.
