Breakthrough is an outstanding and unique training facility with an exceptional staff. I came to Breakthrough following a hip injury that had not resolved after 2 months of every type of treatment imaginable and a long history of injuries following a quad pull from running. I was unable to walk or do normal activities without pain. After just 2 weeks at Breakthrough, my hip injury dramatically improved and I started to see the crucial role of correct and efficient biomechanics in functional movements. Addressing the root cause of my long history of injuries (something no one else had been able to do) involved retraining proper motor control after years of using improper biomechanics. Training techniques started with the basics of correcting poor posture and ineffective breathing along with dramatically improving hip range of motion, hip and core stabilization. The retraining process continued in steps, patiently building on and progressing training as skills and techniques were mastered. Knowledge of anatomy and proper biomechanics, uniqueness and quality of training, professionalism and attention to detail by Josh Hostetler and the team at Breakthrough are outstanding and unlike anything I have ever seen. Every session at Breakthrough is different and includes a seemingly endless variety of new and unique training techniques and challenges. After 7 weeks at Breakthrough, I am amazed at what I am able to do. In addition to eliminating my hip pain, my posture and breathing have improved dramatically and I feel better than I have in years. A planned 1000 + mile bike trip is now more than doable and I can see an eventual return to enjoyable and pain free running. I have a healthcare background as an RN and I have the utmost respect for the advice and expertise of the Breakthrough team. The dramatic results I have seen speak for themselves.

Breakthrough is unlike any other gym, it’s not your typical workout. It’s more than just lifting weights or running, they focus heavily on movement patterns, mobility, and body alignment as well. Josh Hostetler and his staff at Breakthrough are extremely knowledgeable. They are essentially experts on how the entire body works together. My favorite part about the staff, is the way they interact with their clients. They truly care about each individual person and their attention to detail is astonishing. After just one session of working out with Aaron Duckworth, he was able to improve my breathing and taught me the importance of good form. The best part is that they don’t just keep the knowledge to themselves and tell you what to do, they share that knowledge with you so you understand how your body is currently functioning and how it should be functioning. As a mother of 4 young children, who has put herself last for a long time, Breakthrough has been nothing short of wonderful in my life. What the staff at Breakthrough teaches makes sense at a fundamental level. It is the hardest, most rewarding workout I have ever done. I feel 100% comfortable at this facility, with caring trainers who truly know what they are doing, and listen to their clients. They ensure dysfunction in the body is straightened out so that one does not hurt themselves. I have nothing but good things to say about Breakthrough and the trainers who work there. Although, I started with them due to knee pain, I am working through that, getting stronger each day, and becoming a better person, wife, mother and role model to my children, in the process. Very thankful to have the amazing trainers at Breakthrough as part of my life!

My son started working out with Aaron Duckworth about 4 months ago. This was something that our son came to us and said he was interested in doing. We assumed it was like the other "Strength and agility" trainings we have heard about....lots of lifting weights and running....very sport specific...but its not like that at all.... Yes there are weights.....and there is running....but it is soooo much more. The attention to detail of every movement and proper form was impressive to me. Its not about how many reps you do, its about how many reps you do correctly. The workouts are creative and innovative. I have noticed a huge difference in my son physically and mentally. We cannot thank Aaron enough. We are excited to see how much more our son will improve as he continues with Aaron and breakthrough.

Been working out at Breakthrough for a little over a year now. The team here is second to none. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place outside the big box gyms. Especially if youre looking for something similar to Crossfit that combines both functional movement and weights, but perhaps more emphasis on safer technique. My focus has been on Olympic weightlifting but also includes some kettle bell and body weight conditioning. But theres a wide variety of athletes and non-athletes alike coming here for a range of reasons, from injury recovery to just wanting to move better and get stronger. Regardless of what your fitness goals are you can count on getting personal attention on helping you achieve them here.

Breakthrough is an incredible place to work out. The atmosphere and the people are very welcoming. The trainers are more knowledgeable than any I have ever met. No worries if you have an injury, they will take time to research that injury and still be able to help you improve daily. The things you learn about body movement and alignment from day 1 are amazing. I am always paying attention to my posture and my body in general (even when standing in church) I always hear that voice in the back of my head "heavy on the heel" "stack those cylinders" "shoulders packed". I have been receiving personal training from Aaron Duckworth at Breakthrough for the past four months. I am a baseball player for Fairfield Highschool. I can tell a huge difference from when I started working with Aaron to now. Aaron has worked on strengthening my core, improved my breathing and taught me the importance of good form with every exercise. Aaron is very knowledgable and a great trainer. I feel that he has not only helped me to improve physically for baseball, but the workouts we do have also helped with concentration and better mental focus in the classroom.

Breakthrough is more than just a workout. Its more than just personal training. .. they are like whole body experts. Every exercise regimen first prepares my muscles, joints and core, then it works those muscles. In this way, Im able to do things I never thought I could do and accomplish those things without injury. These trainers actually send you away with homework. They strive to teach you how your body works so you can continue to maintain a proper structure through out the rest of your week.
