Constantly noticed a large amount of broken equipment. Just fix the broken treadmills, Etc. I was on a higher rate club membership at the time I transferred from Florence (far superior location and manager), and wanted to switch to the promotional 10 dollar monthly membership. The club manager is a maximum tool. He wanted to charge some extra fees for this and that and was devoid of retention focus. No customer service skills and hes lazy. He "works" until late hours on week nights but leaves trash cans overflowing as he walks by numerous time and would never actually clean or manage the gym. Dry boogers adorned the mens bathroom stall for at least a month (at eye level) so the cleanliness is below par, even for a gym. I didnt dare step foot in a shower. Additionally, the majority of the staff turned over frequently so the same lazy guy running the show must be less than charming to work with. The cross fit classes are good. The best instructor that moved from Arizona to work there also quit and after that I decided it was time to cancel membership.

I initially went into fitworks hoping to look around and get a feel for the place. Jerry literally pointed at prices and asked if I wanted to sign up. I left and went back at the urging of a friend. I met with another employee named Lauren who was informative and helpful. I ended up signing a year long contract and paying in full. For the first two months of my contract one of the 3 womens bathroom stalls was broken. Eventually it was fixed but at least one stall is broken on a regular basis. The machines are constantly broken or out of service. The sanitation bottles are always empty and there are never paper towels in the dispensers. February was the end of my contract but I got 4 free months added on to the end of my contact for paying in full. The gym sent me a bill this month for an "enhancement fee". This was not in my contract. I have been very disappointed with my entire fitworks experience but I guess you get what you pay for.

This location is currently getting re painted, carpeted, tiled and decorated but the weights and machines are the same. That is actually a GOOD thing because they are easy to adjust to all sizes and heights unlike that one size (doesnt) fit all equipment at Planet Fitness. The machines at Fitworks is probably the most functional around and their sit up benches are the best in the biz. (what good is loosing weight if you dont have proper equipment to define your abs to get that 6 pack afterwards)? No other gym I have been to has these type of benches. If you are one of those muscle heads, there is also plenty of free weights to do the job. In conclusion; this gym is all things to all people for a great price. You cant go wrong here! Lastly, they are finally open 24 hours a day from Monday through Friday. Saturday till 7:00pm and Sunday till 6:00pm.

Being an existing member for a year, i brought my new roommate to check out the gym with their "free 3 day gym pass". The individuals at the front desk asked for "proof of residency." My roommate, being new to the city, didnt have an ID associated with Cincinnati. They werent friendly and didnt specify residency requirements; he was immediately denied the 3 day pass trial. When I signed up for my gym membership a year ago, the three day pass was not even questioned and I was kindly given a detailed tour around the entire facility; I dont see where this policy has changed but one thing that should never change regardless of policies is good customer service.

The staff at Fitworks Norwood have, literally, changed my life! They are the most positive, upbeat, and supportive people anyone could hope to find in a gym setting. When I walked in the door in July 2011, I was 315 pounds. With the guidance of my personal trainer, Aaron, and the rest of the amazing staff, I have lost 137 pounds! I am continually grateful for the inspiring and motivating environment the entire staff provides from the very moment I walk in the door. Thanks so much for everything you guys do!

They advertise on billboards and signs outside there gym that they are a 24 hour gym. The truth is they are not. On the entry door there is a sign that states now open 24 hours but right below that sign is an hour of operations sign. The gym closes at night and is not a 24 hour gym. I suggest that if you are seeking a gym to not sign up here. The running machines are in constant need of repair as well.

I like the place, overall it is a good place to workout. It is a large place with a lot to do. Been going there about 2 months. I like the movie room. The only thing I dont like is that they advertise to be open 24 hours but this is only true 4 out of the 7 days. And the other 3 days close at different times. I would like to see the weekend hours expanded to close at 10 or 11pm.

Ive been going to Fitworks in Norwood for the past 13 years. The thing I enjoy about the Norwood facility is the customer service and professionalism with the staff. Ive developed a lot of personal relationships with other members and the overall atmosphere has been very positive. Thanks for helping me reach my fitness goals over the years guys and keep up the good work.

Memberships are cheap, you get what you pay for! The equipment is always broken, takes months to repair it. Bathrooms are never clean, the movie projector gets broken frequently takes at least a week to have it repaired. Make sure you check the expiration of your contract once it has expired ,you will be charged month to month without your knowledge!

I usually go to the FP Fitworks and was near Norwood and didnt want to go back across town, with that being said(written)...my Norwood Fitworks workout was no where near as bad as some reviews on here. I didnt see a lot of broken equipment, bathroom was decent and the greeter wasnt rude so.... This is a decent place to workout.

I just joined Fitworks in Norwood about a month ago and am very pleased with my experience thus far! Everyone is very nice and welcoming! They made sure that I was well taken care of. I was also pleased with the way they got back to me after only a week of being a member just to ask how my workouts were going? Nice place.

They have billboards advertising $10/ month but they have a mandatory equipment repair fund of $69/ year. Thats >$15/ month. Still not high but they are lying. False advertising. A bunch of the equipment is typically broken and the showers smell bad.

Did my 1st workout with my Personal Trainer. He was GREAT!!! Pushed me beyond what I would have done on my own, with a workout routine full of fun and challenging exercises. The Personal Trainers are friendly, and the gym is lively!

I think for $15/month its a good value, mainly for weight lifters. I dont love the cardio machines as much, but they work. I dont love cardio in general, though. I do wish they were open until at least 9 on the weekends, though.
