It is my pleasure to give a more up-to-date review of this funeral home’s current service. When my grandfather passed we looked around for funeral homes, and ultimately decided on Neidhard (as we recalled my grandfather said he liked the environment when we visited for his friend a while back). I can think of no cons about this funeral home so I will go ahead and just list off what I loved about this funeral home: **Competitively priced with other funeral homes, total service cost equal-to or slightly less than other funeral homes in the area. They also have customizable packages so you can choose exactly what you want as a part of your service. **The place is indeed very nice. It is nice, comfortable, and homey on the inside of the building, very much unlike the dreary deathly-feeling interiors of some other funeral homes. **KIND & RESPECTABLE: I loved working with the staff here. Whoever we worked with at a particular time, they were welcoming and extremely accommodating with all arrangements that my family wanted to implement. They never said “no” to any of our requests. This welcoming factor is what helped us decide Neidhard over similarly-priced funeral homes. I think this will be my family’s go-to funeral home of choice now (knock on wood, would not like to be at a funeral home frequently), so long as they keep up the excellent service. **They are flexible. Some funeral homes could not accommodate a weekend visitation with Monday funeral. Neidhard handled it with no problems. They were able to retrieve the body from the hospital the same day. Neidhard certainly deserves six stars out of five. I would not change a thing, and I hope more people review to uplift this excellent funeral home’s new reputation.

We are now Neidhard-Young Funeral Home. I am Paul Young, III and in September, 2014, my wife and I purchased Neidhard-Snow Funeral Home from the large corporation that owned it since the mid 1990s. I grew up in my grandfathers business, became a licensed funeral director, and was the C.O.O. in our family business. After my grandfather passed away and other family members took control, it became evident that they were going to take the business in another direction. We were excited at the opportunity to become Neidhard-Young Funeral Home. We are family owned and operated solely by licensed family members. WE ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY OTHER FUNERAL HOME AND THE ONLY PLACE YOU WILL FIND PAUL YOUNG IS AT NEIDHARD-YOUNG FUNERAL HOME. We are eager to serve the community of Mt. Respect and dignity should be key factors in any funeral home. Well for this one they take the backseat. When I was making the arrangements for my loved one the main funeral director made me feel as though I were a burden on him. I got the impression that he was annoyed that I picked his funeral home out of all the funeral homes in Cincinnati. When we had the visitation it felt rushed and he wanted to get the money and get out of there. He left only a half hour in and some of my family had questions that the people he left us with couldnt answer. The service was decent but still felt rushed and unwelcome. I would never recommend this funeral home to any family, friend, or enemy.

Today I dealt with Sean the head executive at Neidhardgillen for a funeral I was a pallbearer for. Never have I been treated so rudely by a person who is in a position of power during a time of despair. Eventually snow emergency staus was reached today February 15th the day of the funeral. Lies, deceit and greed were the protocol for the day. Shame on you Sean for your complete disregard for safety of your clientele, their friends and the celebration of a life you could have made so much more special. You will be reported to the proper funeral home leadership authorities.

We couldnt have asked for a better experience at such a difficult time. Everyone at Neidhard-Young was professional, accommodating and comforting. We were treated with dignity and respect. The funeral home is beautiful and welcoming. They took care of all the details and saw to it that everything went smoothly. They exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Good people, nice facility, a real pleasure to work with. Made our family feel welcome and offered a great selection of services to choose from. Will certainly be our go to facility in Mt Healthy. The previous Young funeral home next door is under new mgmt and is certainly not what it used to be. Neidhard Young is run by the Young Family now, and it is wonderful. Thanks for everything.
