I booked this place months in advance of my wedding for a mani/pedi with a few of my bridesmaids the day before the wedding, and then updos for the day of. Ill start with the Pros of my entire experience, but there arent many: 1) The vast majority of the girls who work there are very nice, and very competent. Everyone who did an updo was great and I have also had haircuts there in the past and everything was fine. 2) They honored expired coupons for me (they were only like a week after expiration and there was a new coupon being distributed, but still, they did honor them) Onto the Cons: 1) When I went in to get a mani/pedi, my friend and I waited nearly 20 minutes for the technicians to actually sit down and start. Considering that no one talked to us during that time and explained why we were not being helped, I was a tad annoyed to begin with. 2) The mani/pedi -- which was overpriced at $35 and $40 -- was awful. There were air bubbles on four of my nails and the shaping and filing was not very clean either. I let everything slide because I didnt want to become a bridezilla, but I figure if Im paying $35 for you to paint my nails for my wedding, youd better do a much better job than a 10 year old would. (As a result of the air bubbles, my nails were chipped two days later - talk about a waste of money) 3) The technicians were okay, but one in particular was very unprofessional. She butted into our conversation, and not in a good or nice way. It just made the whole experience even more awkward. 4) Heres a good one: I had left my keys on the couch in the entry way and when I realized hours later (because thats how long the mani/pedi took) that I didnt have them, we started a search....only 25 minutes later realizing that a Spada employee GAVE MY KEYS TO SOMEONE ELSE because she just "thought" they belonged to her. So, that client had to be called to drive back to the salon and return my keys. Absolutely freaking ridiculous and I had to leave with my friend since we were running late on account of all of the above. 4) Bridal updo: I actually loved my hair for the wedding, so I have no complaints there, except for the fact that they made me pay for a hair trial and pay again the day of, ignoring the fact that I brought in four other updos for them (my bridesmaids). I felt cheated about that, especially considering everything that happened the day before. Its a shame because I have had good experiences at Spada before, but after how many screwups accompanied my wedding week because of them, I will not be going back.

Definitely do not deserve even 1 star but i could not post a review unless i gave a star. Total waste of money and nothing but a joke. Not even 1 week after getting my hair colored i had horrible re-growth. I was told $90 for ombre when i called and made appointment when i got their it was $120. Then i was told i would be charged for extra color. Total was $160. Thats $70 more than what i was told. To me that is bad business. The worse part is that i wanted ombre (brown to blonde). I ended up with black to orange. It has been less than 1 month since i went their and my hair looks horrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The absolute worst hair experience i have ever had. Please please think twice before making an appointment. If i could give a negative rating i defiantly would.

Spada is a wonderful find in Cincy! Kate is a real pro. I moved early last year to Cincy - and just started cutting my own hair and coloring it too. Have had some bad experiences in the past and was worried to start new here. Kate didnt blink an eye and was so gracious. My hair turned out perfect and she showed me how to style it. I couldnt be happier. And for my long damaged hair, she still had me in and out with the right color and style in no time. She was a real pro and helped me immensely - my hair looks great. Great experience - Kate is wonderful!!!

I have been to many different salons in the cincinnati area and nothing has come close to the service i got here at Spada. As soon as i walked into the salon it was filled with friendly and caring people. I loved the fun atmosphere and the true passion for great pretty healthy hair. I have been going there for awhile now and every time is amazing and i cant wait for my next hair apt every 6 weeks . I LOVE SPADA SALON :)

The staff and service are both great. I have been going to Serenity for about a year now and she knows how to color my (fine) hair so it has dimension. She also makes sure Im doing okay when im waiting for my highlights to set in. I recently got my hair cut into a longer inverted bob and have received many compliments on how thick my hair looks! :)

I have gotten my hair cut and colored here for years, but I just got my lash extensions with Barbara and I LOVE them! I was nervous at first to have someone working so close to my eyes, but it was so relaxing. I love that my eyes look great all the time now even if I dont have makeup on! Definitely recommend them!!

I have been going to Spada for 4 years now and I love it! Monica is amazing and keeps up with the current styling/cutting trends. I have a short-razor cut that could easily be butchered but she ALWAYS does a great job! People constantly compliment me on my cut and I always tell them how great Spada is!

Bought a gift certificate for the holidays as a gift for someone only to find out a bunch of the stylists dont take gift certificates..... not once was this mentioned anywhere when I bought it. shouldnt sell something youre not going to accept.

Carol always does a FABULOUS on my hair. I always get compliments on my hair color. Spada is an excellent and very professional salon. I recommend it to all my friends
