You are probably using SIRVA Mortgage because you were told it will be easier to work through them since SIRVA is doing you relocation and the all expenses we be automatically taken care off - Dont do it, Its not worth it. Find a local lender that you can work with at their location when you need to. Sirva will simply flood you with incoherent PDFs via email which gets really confusing. When Ive done this remotely in the past with other Lenders they usually send you one clear & concise package by courier with a pre-paid courier envelope to return it if you wish. Not Sirva - Its not an option. Make sure you have a good hi speed scanner because you will be doing a lot of scanning. And, lots of patience because they will make it really difficult for how you submit your documents. You will get the feeling that they are not their to help you but hinder you. Ive gotten two mortgages recently after the housing crash and it was not as difficult as Sirva makes.

Great rate, closed fast, and they were ready with closing docs a week early. Documentation submission was great - all electronic - but we did have the option to send overnight (at SIRVAs expense) if we wanted. Because SIRVA handled our corporate relocation, all our reimbursable closing costs were direct-billed, which was a huge plus from a cash-flow perspective. They did end up selling our loan to another company, which is typical for many mortgage companies (non banks), so we were not at all surprised by this. Great experience, I would definitely use again!
