When I first went there, they seemed very friendly, but once my son was enrolled, it was a whole different story. When I took him into the new classroom, I explained my sons toilet habits to the teacher and gave her the lowdown on his ways, she ignored me and kept walking away. A few days later when I picked him up from there, a young teacher told me in her exact words "were not gonna take this from your son". I wasnt sure what she was talking about but she seemed nasty and my son was ready to leave. A few days later he hurt himself there and the teacher complained to me he wanted to be held and comforted for over an hour. This place is a total joke. He started to become apprehensive about going there and eventually picked up a habit of biting people. (He never did this until he started going there). This place is all about image and money and if your child is not accustomed to an insitutionalized environment, I would not recommend taking your child there.

I currently have a preschooler at Goddard and my daughter attended Goddard until she started elementary school. We have been sending our children there for the last 5 years and we have never experienced any negative situations only positive. Everyone who works there is friendly, knowledgeable and caring. I feel that my children have learned so much at Goddard and when my daughter started kindergarten 2 years ago she was much more advanced than the majority of her classmates. I know this is because of the quality of education she has received at Goddard. Its much more than "a daycare". We drive 20 minutes out the way every morning and evening because I could not find another daycare that compared to the quality and excellence of the Independence Goddard School after my family moved. If you are looking for a high quality childcare/preschool then I encourage you to visit Goddard for yourself. You will not be disappointed!

I should have listened to all the terrible reviews I heard and read first. We visited this school with our child a few times before enrolling her and got a very different experience after she was enrolled. They were friendly and attentive while we were there with our child, but once she was there alone it was a different story. They are not at all loving or nurturing. They operate more like a big corporation then a warm place for small children that need kindness and affection. The environment is cold. They care more about making money. Our child screamed and cried hard each time we were taking her there. Everyone told me "she will get used to it". I disagreed and pulled her out. I placed her at a different preschool and she never cried once. Her new school was an instant success. You can feel such a difference in the environment. The teachers are very loving and warm. Save yourself the aggravation. They are terrible!

Director will show you a rosy picture when you will visit the day care so do your own research from their website, like i did so I knew where she was misleading. THERE IS NO SECURITY AT THE ENTRANCE, No Locks ,No Cameras no nothing !! Director told me that system is "froze" and will fix it soon. I came to know from a parent whose child is going there that there is no security system that ipad to login is just a sham. Outer fence are not locked but alarm will sound if someone try to break in. Now there is no lock on the fence gate and only God and staff knows if that alarm thing is true. Day care facility was clean. Cannot say anything about the teachers. If you are not concern about your childs safety, you can give this daycare a try but we decided to look for other daycare. Happy searching.

We looked at several centers when we learned our small daycare was closing when our son was two and a half. Moving to Goddard was the best thing we did for our son. He is socially & mentally steps ahead of other children his age. They focus on learning & development. All members of the staff are involved in the learning process from the owners down to the teachers. If you are looking for a place for your child to learn & grow in ways you would not believe this is the place for you. If you want a babysitter, search elsewhere. They are far superior when compared to any center I visited in our area from the staff to the facilities available for the children. GREAT PLACE! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

My son has been in the program for a year and we love it! So thrilled to have found a daycare that is clean, fun, engaging, and safe! I feel that all of the teachers we have had so far loved my son. When he had some difficulties transitioning to solids the teachers in the baby room were exceptionally helpful by working with my son. The school sends me a picture of him playing during the middle of the day and I can see how happy he is. The school offers fun activites, like water day during the summer, and I find their curriculum to be well rounded. Before my son could even talk he would light up with a big smile whenever he saw his teachers. That, to me, is priceless! Love goddard!

I just had my first child in the summer of 2013. I was so sad to return to work and send him to daycare. The Independence Goddard School made the experience such a positive one for my family. From sending me picture of him having fun throughout the day to taking my 5 calls a day to check on him with patience- they have been incredible. My son LOVES school and I I feel so much better about returning to work and leaving him in the care of others. They do activities and art projects and that is just the babies! I would recommend this school to anyone in the area looking for child care.

We have been with Goddard School since my son was 9 months old. The management team is friendly and is excellent with communication. The teaching staff is amazing and we have loved all of the teachers my son has had. The environment is clean, the building is set far back in a quiet part of Rockside road, which makes pick up and drop off convenient from my husband and I. We constantly receive pictures and video directly to our email, which makes us feel less disconnected from him during the day. When you want the best care for your child, Goddard should be your first choice.

My family feels this has been a wonderful place to send our Daughter. She loves the teachers and other children. The staff is very friendly and come to know our child very well. They take time to learn and adapt to each childs personality. The location is safe and secure and they do a great job keeping parents in touch with everything happening at the school.
