Love LOVE this place! Moved to Delaware from Columbus recently and needed to find a new place to get my hair done. I just couldnt see me driving to Columbus anymore when I hate the traffic so bad. I stumbled across Salon Institute and I am so glad that I did. I will never forget my first visit. I was pulling into the parking lot, still in my car and a man greeted me with a friendly wave. It was the owner! Walked inside and was immediately impressed. The students are friendly, the staff are friendly. Its clean, innovative, fun and the prices are competitive. I found a hair dresser that I will follow around! That has only happened to me one other time in my life. When you find the right person to help you feel good about your hair....youve got it made! Youll love it. I know you will!

I have always gone to Great Clips to get my hair buzzed; however, the educators and students have given me a great HAIR CUT that works well with my facial features and lifestyle (Ive gotten my best haircuts here and refuse to go anywhere else). Every Tuesday they offer free mens haircuts all day- its an amazing deal that you just cannot beat. The students are all so talented, friendly, and professional, and they work so well as a team with their educators. The educators help with the consult, come back and check frequently, then check once more at the very end- so the end result is always perfect. The entire staff is so friendly and passionate about what they do and the education of the students and its very obvious from the moment you walk in the door.

These girls/students do such a great job at whatever they do, but they do such a great job at haircuts.I have seen a couple of haircuts such as my soon to be son in law, and my mothers haircut, and my daughters haircuts and color (absolutely beautiful)! My mothers cut was marvelous , she has a hard time hearing and has alzheimers, so they took the time to consult with her about her hair cut and she loves it. The first thing she said was" I will be back."So my family has had a great experience and will continue go to this institute for the great experience that we receive. Angel did my highlights and did amazing. They do so well and are so passionate about their education and you can tell the staff is as well. I highly recommend without hesitation!

All around great service. There are free mens hair cuts on Tuesdays - best thing for College students. The haircut is done by a student there and checked by a professional through each step of the process. The people there are really nice and like what theyre doing. They have the option of an appointment, call ahead, or walk-in. I walked in and waited for maybe 5 minutes. The design of the salon was great and very welcoming. They have all of the equipment, as far as I could tell and they get hands on experience in this program. They could always use more customers willing to be patient as the student learns different methods of cutting and styling hair. I learned a few terms during the hair cut.

As soon as I walked in the door I was impressed. The interior design of the Institute has a very high end look. Not at all what you would think a school would look like. I was blown away by the service that student Lakyn provided. She was professional, courteous and listened to what I wanted for my color and style. Her work was amazing! The instructor who was supervising Lakyns work was very thorough in checking the layers as well as consulting with Lakyn on the color. The color she created for me was a perfect match and the cut and style had me feeling like a million dollars. I highly recommend he Salon Institute.

I absolutely love this place!!!!! I went for a Mani pedi and wax for the first time with my best friend and soon to be maid of honor and it was wonderful and the staff was so great we decided to have my whole bridal party go here to do hair and makeup for my wedding. The staff was so exceptionally accommodating and they even called in their best makeup artist who wasnt supposed to work that day to come in and she did and my makeup was gorgeous!!!! Love love love the prices and the people. You all are wonderful and I look forward to going to you all for any service I need and telling everyone I know about you guys.

I had full highlights and a haircut. The student doing my hair did a great job. However, I was charged for 2 extra bowls of bleach and toner when I went to pay. I feel the teacher should have been watching a little more closely. 2 extra bowls of bleach for shoulder length hair is excessive and a teacher should have caught that in my opinion. I have never had to pay for extra product when having highlights done. $48 seemed like a reasonable price for a student to do highlights on my hair but if I am going to pay $72 I would rather have a stylist with experience. It also took 4 hours.

They didnt tell me they were using semi-permanent dye instead of permanent. So, not only has the color already washed out heavily on some areas wit a singletter wash but parts of my hair are tinted green in certain lights. I took the appointment here because it was the obly salon I could find and deeply regret it. It was such a waste of money for immediately exposed roots, a weird green tint (on the Virgin hair mind you), and what has amounted to a shoddy blue-black ombre.

I went there for an undercut and I couldnt have asked for a better experience! Everyone there was so friendly and excited to learn. The student did a lovely job on my hair. She really took her time with the cut and talked with me about the whole process. The intructor came by often to check the progress and offer the student advice. They can even donate the hair you cut off! I would definitely go back there without a second thought.

As a student I love the atmosphere of Salon Institute. It looks and feels like a high end salon and the staff is super professional and informative. I am so glad I found this school! I can already tell that the education Im receiving here is top notch especially after touring other schools! I would HIGHLY suggest this school for clients and students. I will be accepting clients in March! COME SEE ME!!!

I had my hair done by Lakyn and it was fantastic. I got an elongated bob and an undercut at the nape of my neck, which for never having done an undercut there, turned out really well! The other students and the teachers were very pleasant, and helpful with the haircut. I will definitely be going back!

The staff here is super friendly! I got a manicure and pedicure from here during one of their specials and it was awesome! They had a great selection of colors to choose from, and the pedicure chairs were super comfortable! They did a wonderful job on my nails and will be returning again!

Just left here and I absolutely loved everything about it. I got a pedicure which was so relaxing and much needed. I also got a brow waxing and they turned out amazing. I feel and look so much better. Lastly their staff and facilities are top notch! I highly recommend Lakin and Shauna.
