I recently moved to the Columbus area, and needed a new Aveda salon. I was really nervous, because I have VERY difficult hair to work with--thick, curly, wavy, and I have found out from past experience that not every stylist knows how to manage it. I came in to have a full highlight and trim, and wanted my hair lightened from the last time it was done at my old salon in Cleveland. Charlee is a new stylist, and I am VERY happy to say that she did an AMAZING job with my hair! I am growing my hair out and lightening it over the next year for my wedding, and she definitely gave me what I wanted. Though it is time consuming to get my hair done (it always has been, even when I have shorter hair) it was more than worth the wait. Charlee also is very easy to talk to, and made the whole experience fun. It was a nice mini vacay of pampering, and I couldnt be happier to be lucky enough to have found a salon and stylist right off the bat that can manage my crazy hair and give me such a pleasant experience! The price was also very reasonable, and I had initially attempted an appointment at Phia, but there was a scheduling mix up that would have made it impossible with my schedule to make. Im very glad for the mix up, because instead I found a place that is closer, and a stylist who knows how to manage and style, cut, and color my hair--no easy task!!!

After a really terrible haircut with horrible chunky layers from a hairstylist at a Salon Lofts in the Short North, Michelle did wonders for my hair. I first got it cut and I asked for the minimal amount, and the hairstylist at Salon Lofts cut off an inch and my shortest layer was to my ear. UGLY. Michelle found the mistakes and understood what I was talking about and smoothed the chunkiness as much as possible. I even got a mini-facial and scalp massage from her. She gave me no pressure to buy products as well. She listened to me, and engaged just enough to make me feel comfortable, but she also was focused on her work. Thank you for making a bad situation into a good one!

Saw Alehna. She was recommended to me by a friend. This was my first time seeing her or being at the salon. She was fantastic and gave me a great cut! I wasnt exactly sure what i wanted for my hair but we talked it over and she nailed it! Best cut Ive had in a reallllyy long time. Eveyone working there seemed really nice. I will definitely be back!

It is always a pleasant experience at the salon. I recently moved into New Albany and have been going to the salon since. Currently my stylist is Amanda and she has been doing an amazing job and makes me look much better walking out of the salon every time. She is also a good conservationist which makes the hour fly by so far. Thank you Square One!

Ive been searching two years to find a great mani/pedi. Id all but given up then I found Anthony! Hes meticulous. My gel mani lasts at least 2 weeks. Pedi looks amazing too. Im so thrilled that I booked all my appointments for the rest of 2016. Love him. Love his work. Also, the atmosphere here is very calm & relaxing.

Highly recommend, & go see Tina!! Not only did i show up on the wrong day, my hair needed quite a bit of work done to it as well. Luckily, Tina was such a sweet lady, fit me into her schedule, talked to me about different ideas on how to change/repair/color my hair, and gave me a fabulous new cut with gorgeous color!!

I absolutely love this salon! The products are incredible, they smell amazing not to mention the use of natural ingredients which is always a plus. All of the staff here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Ill never stop using aveda. Also, if you havent tried their tea... you MUST!!

I had to wait 30 mins past my appt time. Also, I paid for a cut and "style". No styling was done to my hair I was sent out the door after it was blow dried and I looked ridiculous, I had to immediately go home and style my hair. However the complimentary mini facial was nice and unexpected.
