Dont ever go to this salon. I found it by accident on Craigs List from Candaces ad looking for new clients. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I made an appt. a week ahead of time. The day of my appointment, I call in to find out where it is on Harper & to ask questions about prices. The woman (Candace) that was to work on my hair calls me and asks why I called. I told her to find out where they were & for prices. An hour later, the receptionist leaves me a voicemail telling me that Candace has had a family emergency with a dying family member, needed to leave work and they canceled my appt. Ok. I call back later about 5 pm in the evening to ask why they couldnt offer someone else to do my hair since this is Valentines Day weekend and it will be impossible to get another appointment somewhere else at the last minute. They had no answer for me. The afternoon receptionist (Jewel) also told me that Candace was working! I asked to speak with Candace; I was put on hold and they told me she was busy. Candace never returned my call to apologize or anything. They straight out lied about a family emergency. Im waiting to see if the salon owner calls or even cares. Immature and unprofessional staff. If Candace has to advertise on Craigs List for clients, she is not a good stylist or worker. Any good, professional, and mature stylist has clients lined up. I would never spend my hard-earned money in this place after being treated like this.

Love this salon!!! Everyone is always friendly. Candace never lets me down and I love when she colors/cuts my hair. I walk out feeling revived and renewed and even a little sassy. Laura maintains my daughters hair and eyebrows and she gets compliments all the time. Love this hometown salon. I recommend it as often as I can.

James Edwards is a very fun, yet professional setting. I look forward to coming in for every appointment. All the girls know how to accommodate their clients and their number one goal is to make them happy. Laura really knows how to run such a wonderful salon. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Ive been going to James Edward for years now and I love that I can say to my stylist "Do whatever you want!" and she always makes my hair look fantastic. The stylists really seem to care about their clients! Great place!!
