I am a Miami professor and 35 year resident of Oxford, Ohio. I have tried most of the auto repair groups in Oxford. Spring Street Auto is the best combination of friendliness, immediacy, diagnostics and repair that I have experienced in Oxford. They service my 2002 Chevy S10 and my 2009 GMC Yukon from oil changes to tires to brakes to engine analysis. You are greeted by friendly people as you come in the door. The manager assesses your car and decides very quickly how to stage your repairs. Work is done on time and at the agreed upon cost. They are great with Miami students who have never learned how to put air in a tire and can diagnose the most complex computer managed engine problems. Great people. Great service. Excellent repairs that last. I recommend them to everyone.

My car started having engine problems on a Sunday, the day before I was supposed to drive home. Thankfully, they were able to tell me what was wrong and fix it that same day in only a couple of hours! I cant thank them enough for being so nice and quick! They are also reasonably priced which is great on a college students budget. I will definitely go back there if I have any more car trouble while in Oxford (but hopefully I wont have to).

I was happy with the service on my daughters car. The main mechanic has a strong personality, but dont let that put you off. He was knowledgeable and timely. He charged a reasonable price for his services. I feel confident in his work. If you want your college kid to have a nearby mechanic, I would recommend Spring Street Auto Service.

The Head Mechanic is very knowledgeable and very straight-forward with customers. He is also very friendly which more than can be said for many mechanics. They are reasonably priced when compared with other foreign auto shops which typically run higher $ anyway b/c of the types of cars. I recommend them.
