This is my opinion If i could give this gym less then one star i would the staff has no people skills and are rude as heck! the members are stuck up and seem to go their too show off and not work out they sing to them selfs and air guitar like they are on reality TV .they are a strange bunch .also the gym has a bad smell to it like sweat and old gym clothes .it is very bad .the bathrooms are a mess and seem to never be cleaned they are always out of soap and toilet paper the small steam room is the size of a bathroom stall and is kinda gross .this gym is very poor . for a new place .I would rather work out in a garbage dumpster with rats then in this snot factory! Also watch out for the gay guys that hook up in the bathrooms and the steroids being passed around that no one seems to know about then theirs the nepotism where only friends are welcomed at this gym in my opinion fit works is the worst gym in Ohio only because UH hospital owns it that why it is still open if this was another place they would have the health department all over them.. then their are the people in wheel chairs that want you to cater to their every whim and the handicap and mental sick people that want to take their angry out on every one in the gym by starting fights and the staff lets them get away with it also the bald manager Chas is a rude nasty idiot with no manners he also sounds like a women so you can not understand him when he talks. and the trainer named Micheal is a nasty creep he looks like he is on steroids he also has bad skin and rotten teeth he should be fired for insulting members.if your a good P.C.Liberal bleeding heart of Union thug then this dump is the place for you.

I signed up for Fitworks a little over a year ago and went to the one in Stow. I had a trainer and everything was peachy until we had to move to Parma and the people there went from being my best friends to suddenly not really caring about me. I called the Parma Fitworks with the intention of cancelling everything. Thankfully, I did not. The person I spoke with on the phone was very chipper and friendly and offered to at least set up an appointment with one of the trainers so I could use the rest of my free personal training sessions. She was so nice, I agreed and made an appointment to see Brandon. From the jump going to this gym was a whole different experience. All of the employees were happy and appeared to know everyone that was working out. But honestly what got me to stay was Brandon. I have had bad knees since I was 16. I am 24 now, and in the past 8 years have seen countless doctors about what I can do to fix them. In less than 3 weeks. Brandon figured out the problem and not only has me on a regime that eliminates all pain from my knees, but he is also a huge motivator and a support system for reaching both my near fitness goals and thinks long term. Even on days that I dont have a session scheduled he comes over and asks how I am doing and if I think everything we are doing is working. He does the same with all of his clients. He is top notch. The whole staff is! If you need somewhere to work out where you wont be treated like just another sweaty number on a treadmill, this is the place to go hands down.

I signed up at Fitworks-Parma at the beginning of the year after finishing up college. From the moment I walked in the door I was welcomed by amazing staff willing to help me achieve my fitness goals. I am a former collegiate athlete with experience in training to perform at a high level on the playing field however, I did not know how to train to maintain. I enlisted the help of the training staff and do not regret the decision at all. Not only have they run me through great workouts they have taught me proper form such that I can confidently do those same exercises on my own. I have had the opportunity to train with all of the trainers at this facility and through my experience they are all knowledgeable about their craft and able to tailor workouts to each client in order to achieve their specific goals. Fitworks-Parma is great if you are working out alone, with a friend, with a trainer or enjoying one of the many group fitness classes they offer. Probably one of the best parts of Fitworks-Parma is how friendly and personable the staff is. Regardless of the day you are having you are guaranteed to be greeted with a smile from at least one of the staff members, trainers or even the owner. I look forward to my workouts every day.

I have been a member of Fitworks for two years. I frequented the Rocky River, OH and Downtown Cleveland, OH Fitworks locations early during the beginning of my membership. Once I moved I was at the Parma,OH Fitworks 5 days a week. I left nearly each time angry due to it being so dirty, things are broken, soap isnt filled, paper towels arent filled, the staff are the rudest "customer service" representatives I have ever come in contact with except for one and the machines are from the 80s. I sense that this location is the ugly step child of the Fitworks locations and it doesnt help that the manager would cause any person of intelligence to run screaming before signing a contract there. He was continually rude and condescending to his employees and to the members of the gym. The personal trainers had no gym etiquette and would talk during their training sessions. One in particular would scream obscenities, degrade women and share pornographic pictures with his clients and other members of the gym. I am appalled that this gym has not been reprimanded or required to change its ways. It is the worst money I have ever spent.

the gym is ok when no one is there, I make it a point to go super early in the morning. The reason why is they only have ONE smith machine! which is stupid! If you try to use it when the gym is crowded for get it! There are some members that will get on it and just hang out on it with other members and NOT even workout! Some of us are there to work out and do compete in shows. When Im working out on the smith machine I try to make it a point to do what I have to do and get off of it asap for the next member. Ive told stuff over and over get another one and put it in the upper level but I get that we have to much machines here. For other members there they are something else walking around like they are tuff guys and dont even know how to work out. Im thinking about getting a membership at Planet Fitness since they have 5 smith machines and I can use there clubs anywhere in the USA when traveling. Im going to try one more time with head staff about getting another smith machine and if these same members just want to hang out on the smith machine it might be time to start getting in there face about it.
