We JUST moved into our duplex on Pearl Rd. We were told the duplex was "move in ready." The leasing agents were very polite right up until the point we forked over 1600 dollars and had signed the lease. Once we walked into the duplex, it was an utter distaster. The place was an absolute mess. Every single floor was caked in dust and hair (not sure if human or dog hair). The toilet was covered in hair and the bathtub had footprints in it and a used razor still sitting on the window sill. The stove and hood were covered in grease and the fridge was dirty. There was literally a full garbage bag in the kitchen closet, a disgusting blanket tacked up over the dining room window and bits and pieces of trash from the previous tenants were randomly scattered throughout the house (their disgusting bath mats were even still on the floor in the bathroom). Our trash bin in the garage was (still is) also full with other crap strewn about in there also. We have now been trying, for four days, to get in contact with a manager and have only been able to deal with rude secretaries (Sydney) who literally hung up on me. She will most likely say she hung up as I got hostile/rude with her on the phone; my hostility didnt not begin until THE THIRD time she hung up on me (up until that point I was polite and calm). She told me the apartment had been cleaned to "their specifications" even though we emailed them at least 30 pictures proving that it was not. We have been forced to stay at our inlaws for our first four nights as we clean and clean each day to get the apartment actually ready to move in; we have a small child ... We cannot move into the apartment in its current state. Sydney refused to put a manager on the phone or to contact one for me and hung up on me numerous times as I obviously kept calling back. The back page of their lease shows everything that needs to be done to obtain your security deposit back; half of it wasnt done on the day we moved in. We chose to go with a housing group as opposed to a rental by owner as we expected some semblance of professionalism. We have recieved none. We are not slum tenants, we have only been here four days (if you can call it actually being here) and even shocked the leasing agent by paying our first TWO months up front; they were confused as "no one ever does that and most people are usually late with rent." I am a teacher with a bachelors degree and my fiancé is a licensed physical therapist with a doctoral degree. This isnt a review from a "scorned tenant who didnt get what they want." This is a review from two professional, hard working Americans who traveled 700 miles from South Carolina expecting to be able to move right in to their apartment that was "move in ready." Do not rent from this Group. They are essentially committing consumer fraud by not using the previous tenants security deposits to adequately clean and make sure the apartment is ready.

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS! My boyfriend and I lived in one of their properties for a year and paid every rent payment on time and never caused a problem. We rented an older house in Parma that had many problems and always called for Maintenance and we were usually ignored. I would have to call 5 or 6 times for someone to finally come to the house. The water heater broke the first week we lived there. When the maintenance man came he fixed the problem but when I showed him the broken front door handle he told me "you have to deal with it I dont know how to fix it". I also showed him the 4 broken windows in the house that needed replaced (they were like that when we moved in and were assured they would be replaced). He measured them and said I would get a call to schedule a good time to come back. I never received a call and was ignored for a month in a half when I left messages asking when someone was going to come and just asked that it would be before winter. The windows were still broken a year later when we moved out. We just moved out in October 2016 and stated an extra day just to make sure the property was spotless and move in ready. The only issue they could have had was holes on the walls from pictures (we called the office several times for matching paint to touch up any problems), small marks on the wall from a reclining chair, and the caulk in the bathroom was black because whoever installed it before we moved in used latex instead of silicone so no matter how hard we scrubbed it wouldnt her clean. The house was spotless when we left. They charged us $685 for items in the house that were there when we moved in and "General cleaning". When I asked what this was they said it was the general cleaning done after each tenant moves out. That is NOT the previous tenants responsibility to pay. The security deposit is for any damage or if we left the property "unrentable" according to the lease. When I asked for proof with pictures I was sent pictures of the house much dirtier with dirt on the floor from people walking around and in the corner of the picture the toilet with the seat up with urine. This company will scam you and try to take every dollar you have. We are great tenants and always received security deposits in the past and never had a problem. We also left the property in much better shape than we received it. Im not one to complain or write online reviews but Im hoping to save someone from the scam and dishonesty of this company. The rent was a great price but it wasnt worth the dishonesty and headache. Pay a little extra and find someone else.

These people are slum lords! Do NOT rent from them! Reporting to BBB!They would not fix a broken falling over fence because it was "cosmetic" and was charged for dog house i was told to leave because it was holding up the fence, wouldnt fix mold in basement on walls from moisture because they were "cosmetic". Tires were left on premises from previous tenant and charged me for removal upon move out. Missing screens were never installed. Was charged for light fixtures and light bulbs that werent there upon move in. Charged for large tree branch the size of telephone pole that fell from a dead tree that they refused to have removed, which could have easily killed my dogs or daughter if they were back there playing when it fell. Charged for a screen foor that never fit in the track and was already damaged. Charged $155 to fix a $20 door. Claims they did $300 in general cleaning on a place that was left cleaner than when i moved in. Was willing to sell or leave stove and fridge both cleaned working and not supplied upon move in i was told they do not buy them but im welcome to leave them, uet was charged for the removal of a working fridge. When i first signed lease got told 3 differemt things about when i was going to pick up the keys. Was told they would be ready drove out and still werent ready. First month they tried to charge me for a pet that they had waived the fee for per lease agreement. I paid rent on time and they even wrote me a letter or recommendation yet you keep the entire security deposit and some. They are rude, disrespectful, unorganized and should not be in business. Every time ive been in that office(which is every month because they make you come to their office in parma to pay rent-which has no grace period) there are mult teants in there arguing with staff and it is unbelievable how disrespectful and unhelpful they were to myself and others. I will never rent from them and dont waste your time or money! They will scam you and charge you for things you didnt do! Their maintenance is a joke too. I was a great tenant who caused not problems and left the place clean and abided by all lease rules yet have dealt with nothing but hell from them since day 1. If i could have gotten my security deposit back the day after i paid it i would have!
