I have gone to other Great Clips and have always had a good experience but this particular shop , I had never gone to and after this experience, will never go back. It was a Sunday afternoon and I decided to go get a trim. I called ahead of time because I was not familiar with the area that this one was located. The person I spoke to stated that they would be closing soon at 5pm but I could still be serviced, as long as I was there by 5pm that day. So, I proceeded to the shop. Within minutes I arrived at the shop. I walked in and there were other customers in the shop, one lady ahead of me checking out. Once it was my turn, the stylist checking me in, proceeded to ask me check in questions, such as my name, etc but I sensed a negative attitude as we are going through the process. She even rolled her eyes as she was checking me in. Because I sensed this, I told her that I had called ahead but if she needed me to, I could come back tomorrow. She simply stated, “NO, you are in here now”. So, I sat down, she ran to the front door to lock and went to the back of the shop for a few minutes and then came back to get me to take me to her chair. Again, because I could feel the negative attitude, I tried to again to kindly state that I had called ahead and they told me I could come but I certainly don’t like to keep anyone too late. She only responded to my comments with a grunt and mumble sound under her breath while rolling her eyes. At this point, I was no longer going to deal with this unprofessional person. I jumped out of the chair, grabbed the paper from around my neck and ran out of the shop. I was in complete disbelief that this had just happened. I am all about customer service and this young lady with her purple hair and her unprofessional behavior and non customer service attitude, was NOT going to touch my hair. So to wrap this up, hate to say that this shop, as a whole is bad but they definitely have a bad apple in the bunch, so avoid the stylist with the purple hair and the nasty attitude!

Laughably bad service, good to bad hair cuts, ice cold personalities…you name it they have got to be near the bottom of all the local hair salons. Decided to give them one more try after having a couple good cuts followed by mediocre cuts. Just left an hour ago after having the lone guy in the shop cut my hair. As mentioned in other reviews he decided conversations with the other ‘stylists” (and I use the word loosely) were much more important than paying attention to what he was doing. He acted offended when I told him I needed my hair shorter on the top. After a quick whack job on my head he took off the apron and indicated I was done. My head was soaking wet at this point. When I indicated my hair was wet by asking if I could borrow his hair dryer (a joke I thought) he handed it to me, threw the apron on the floor and walked away! Avoid this place unless you want to gamble with your hair and experience!

Wow, just called them to ask about bringing my son in for a haircut and the person who answered could not have done more to validate the bad reviews. First, she continued the conversation she was having after she had picked up the phone. I had to wait to be addressed until after she finished a story with the person. I then asked if I could bring my son in for a kids cut. Her response was "were open 10 to 5" . I asked if that meant they dont do appointments to she she said "nope". I said, "ok, thank you." At which point she resumed talking to someone else and hung up. A lack of any common courtesy or enthusiasm is, apparently, the first impression this place wants to make. For people like me, it will also be the last impression.

They moved to a new location and its smaller. Everyone is crowded waiting for these hair stylists who do nothing but talk to each other instead of focusing on cutting their clients hair. That tall dude with the chin strap is so rude. There was a kid and their dad getting their hair done And that tall guy told the kid to hurry up!? Rude. All of these stylist take their time and not in a good way, like some people like to come in and leave quickly. Then they get pissed off when you dont tip as much as theyd want you to. All you hear is them do is complain. Id stop coming here but my husband likes the way one of the hair stylists cuts his hair.

I started frequenting this location once I moved from New Albany. Every stylist I had did a wonderful job. I will say once they moved and Kristy cut my hair I was sold! She is such a pleasant person to talk with and does an impeccable job with my hair. Give her a try if you get the chance!!

Horrible customer service! If you do go be sure to dress nicely if you dont want to get passed over, even when youre the next one on the list! They are snobs only worried about tips! And only took my daughter back after I made a scene the THIRD time that they tried to pass us over!

First time at this location. Horrible customer service. Talked over, talked around. The stylist too busy talking about breast feeding and other inappropriate conversations with 3 other stylist ignoring their customers. Terrible experience, will never go back.

Kristy has been cutting my hair for well over a year+ now and I wont go to anyone else!!! She completely understood what type of cut I was asking for and has never disappointed me! She has a wonderful attitude and is always so happy to see me!

Checked in for a 31 minute wait and arrive at the location to my name not on the wait list. Stylist blamed it on me and said there would be another 30 minute wait. Will not return!
