I had two electrical issues for repair; fix an outdoor light that wasnt coming on and replace a light bulb and reinstall can light trim in my great room I only had the electrician fix the outdoor light because the price quote for the second issue was way too expensive. The electrician fixed the outdoor light and I was very satisfied with the results. The second issue, to change a light bulb in my great room ceiling and reinstall the can light trim, is the one that I opted NOT to have repaired. I was quoted a price of $286.95 to change the light bulb and reinstall the trim (that was IN ADDITION TO the price of the service call). Seriously; $286.95 to change a light bulb? The breakdown on the estimate was $138.20 to install a can light and trim plus $148.75 for "Minor step ladder charge". These charges were IN ADDITION to the service charge for the other repair. I dont think Id use this company again because of the price quote to basically change a light bulb.

Mr. Electric promptly responded to our request for an estimate to replace outdoor lighting by our front door and garage. The technician, Dominic Zitello, was courteous and knowledgeable, and he provided a good assessment of what was needed along with a reasonable estimate for such work. After we gave permission to continue, Mr. Zitello efficiently completed the work and also made some minor repairs to lighting within the kitchen we further requested. The work was high quality, and we greatly appreciated Mr. Zitellos professionalism. A job very well done.

NO THANKS! I am no longer a fan of Mr. Electric and will strongly detest you at every opportunity. I reached out to Mr. Electric to assist in a At-Risk and Homeless Veteran initiative and was met with a $40,000 estimate. As a veteran (USMC), who’s married to a veteran and has a son currently serving, I found this atrocious. Please remove me from your email and repeat customer list. I’ll be sure to mention this to anyone in need of an electrician and will never use any of your services (electric, plumbing or appliance repair) again. Arnold Ramsey

Tim B. from Mr. Electric was very professional and helpful. He arrived on time, completed the work promptly and fully explained everything that he needed to do for us. We were really happy with his services. We have one complaint about Mr. Electric however - we contacted them because we saw a television ad indicating that a ceiling fan installation was $75 - this isnt actually true. A new ceiling fan installation is several hundred dollars. We believe that the advertising is entirely misleading.

On a day that most people probably would have postponed the work Mr Electric sent 2 very competent electricians. They had to dig below a transformer and mend a broken line to my building. It rained until it snowed that day. Their hole would fill up repeatedly. I commend your 2 men for fine jobs that day. Will and have recommend this company.

Johnny D from Mr Electric was very professional, courteous, and did great work. He ran an electric line to the middle of my living room ceiling to allow me to install a new light. His work was clean, direct, and made as little impact as possible when cutting dry-wall to fish the line to its new location. Nice work overall.
