Mimi and her staff are good people that provide excellent services for the parents and the children. What I absolutely loved best about Cherry Blossom Daycare is the advanced notice on anything related to daily activities, lunch selections, pricing, closures, and special events. Mimi is very professional and very organized which makes year round scheduling much easier on the parents. 1. Educational activities – excellent 2. Good nutritional food – very healthy lunches and is accommodating with food requests/restrictions 3. Plenty of supervision – great staff that is always engaged with the kids 4. Plenty of play time – excellent play areas and back yard that are safe 5. Pricing – great pricing and great flexibility 6. Language – Good Japanese and English skills possessed by Mimi and Staff 7. Daycare / safety requirements – Mimi holds ... that provide excellent services for the parents and the children. Our daughter loved it and we are sure your child will too! If you are on the hunt for a daycare you should definitely give them a call!

Bilingual (Japanese) Beaverton Preschool and Childcare - We had two weeks to find a daycare. Our previous daycare provider had decided to let our son go because he wasnt making them enough money since he was only going there for 3 days. After frantically going through a handful of daycares, we finally got lucky and found Cherry Blossom Preschool & Child Care! It was a blessing in disguise :) We scheduled to meet with Mi Mi right away and unlike the rest of the daycares we had been to, my son seemed to feel right at ease as we entered the daycare. Besides the fact that it was a peanut free environment (which my son is allergic to) and it was Christian based, I was immediately blown away by the program that Mi Mi had outlined on her website. I was interested especially in the bilingual program. We arent Japanese, but growing up in Hawaii we were surrounded by the culture and embraced it as our own - down to the food and the language. I had also read in an article that learning a 2nd language at an early age has a positive effect on intellectual growth and enhances a childs mental development. Boy does that show with our 2 year old! My husband and I have been very pleased with Mi Mi and the rest of the Cherry Blossom Preschool staff. They have taken our son in as their own and my son cant get enough of being there. On the days hes not at school, he always asks to go to "Mi Mis house" haha. I highly recommend Cherry Blossom Preschool & Child Care to parents who are looking for a very nurturing environment and who would like their children to be able to learn and appreciate the diversity of other cultures.

We started taking our child to cherry blossom when she was 9 months old. It started out being very good,Until our daughter got croup. It then seemed that every time we took her to day care she would return home sick. Every time we dropped her off there was another child who was going home sick or had already left. This is understandable being that kids do get sick, I am fully aware of that. It just seemed as though they would not take the necessary precautions of advising parents to not bring their children in of they are sick. The largest issue we had was when we pulled her out of child care with them and didnt give them two weeks notice. I understand they want their money. It just came at a bad time, my father had just passed away and we told them they would receive their money when we were back in town. They called and emailed my wife several times looking for their money and even threatened taking us to collections not even 3 weeks after his passing. RUDE and disrespectful in my opinion. I do not recommend this day care.

I went to several daycare providers until I found Cherry Blossom Daycare. MiMi was so knowledgeable & friendly. My 2yr old son warmed to her right away. The overall setup of the daycare is what I expected a daycare to look like. I knew straight away this was the place I had in mind. Clean, professional setup, healthy lunch menu/snacks, great play structures and experienced/friendly staff. It was the first time leaving my boy & I wanted to know that when I left him for the day that he would be getting the best care. I felt that in my heart straight away. Within a couple of weeks he was singing the alphabet (not entirely) but it was coming together and also the days of the week. He also picked up some Japanese words and could understand what the teachers were asking/telling him within a month. Overall, if you are looking for an affordable, loving, learning environment for your child, I would highly recommend MiMi at Cherry Blossom Daycare.

I tried several daycare in Bethany/Beaverton area last year when I wanted to send my 2 yr old , all I can say that - MiMi and her teachers are the BEST. I got what I wanted and my son loved MiMi , he always get excited whenever I dropped him there, he knows he is going to learn different skills everyday. All the fun he had was limitless. He started to say his ABCs and 123s before he was 3 yrs old. MiMi taught very good social behavior & academics skills to my son. He listens, follows the rules even at home, read, writes, colors, sings and he enjoys the small quality day care provided by her.Cherry Blosom Daycare provides the best, quality, safe and healthy environments to all the kids .I highly recommend this daycare and I give more than 5 star rating.

We are happy to find this excellent daycare!!!! Cherry Blossom daycare was the first one for my 2 year old son. Now we are in Japan and he goes to daycare here. He says he misses MiMi sensei daycare. He loved learning and playing with everyone there. She provides an excellent education, healthy food and clean environment. As I am being Japanese, my son and I speak Japanese. Mimi sensei teaches frequent Japanese and culture as bilingual. If you are really looking for the daycare to introduce 2nd language for your child, this is the place! Your child will pick up Japanese with no time. I highly recommend Cherry Blossom Daycare.
