Ive been going to Sunflower Beauty Salon for manicures and pedicures for years now. They do a wonderful job every time. I actually went to school, years ago in California for manicuring, although I never got licensed. Anyway, since I have the background, Ive found that a large number of manicurists, even at expensive nail salons, dont follow the methods that are taught. They cut corners. Well, Sunflower Beauty Salon is the first salon that Ive found that does manicures and pedicures as they are supposed to be done. Plus, they have massage chairs (very relaxing). I cant speak for their work with acrylic nails, but Ive had french manicures and Ive done the gel nails and theyve always done a great job with those too.

I made the mistake of going else where due to convenience yet again. So disappointed.... I have come to the Sunflower salon for 4 years now about 4-5 times a year for pedicures. They do excellent work...so much they have hired someone new that does pedicures (didnt get her name)...I got her, unfortunately, and she didnt do nearly as good of job as the regular ladies. But I still like the place and plan on asking for a specific person next time. They are great with nail design, too. But again there are some ladies there that dont do greatness with designs....tip: ask for the samples of designs to look at & choose a good one or else you may end up with 5 white dots that resemble a flower.

this was my second time getting acrylic nails and i was sceptical, i asked for an almond nail, not like a cat nail, but not that awkward round shape, the lady was sick, coughing and sneezing, she got up, blew her nose and went back to touching my hands. i was astonished and she kept taking the dremel to my nails, it has now been four weeks and my thumb nail is half grown out while my other nails are fully grown out and you can tell where my nail was filed to the last few layers. My friends nails looked good, im not saying all the nail artist are bad, but i dont appreciate being coughed on and i dont like having my nails ruined from a tool.

I called in to ask if I could come in get a fill and they told me to get there by 10:30am I show up and they have someone already sitting in the chair and tell me to wait or come back at 1:00pm. After I explained I called to set up a 10:30am they still do not give me my nail time. plus the nail job wasnt even all that great. The nails were way to wide I had to go home and shape them myself. only reason why I returned was to give them a second chance but this officially made it that I will not return.

As soon as I walked in I was helped. It was around 6ishpm on Friday and it was busy. I went in hoping to get a full set that evening. They gave their card and suggested I make an appt. Saturday afternoon called in and set up appt in an hr. Arrived felt welcomed. Decided on my color. She tested the color on my nail to make sure its the one I really want. She shared theyve been in business for 19yrs. I noticed she did a wonderful job. She was patient and was very good of making it look

I have been going to this salon to have my nails done with Tina for 2 years now....I have never found anyone to compare with her work. She speaks good English, she always remembers details about how I like my nails done. She is so very kind to accommodate me in anyway she can. Tami and Anne are also awesome!

I take my kids here for haircuts. The same woman always does the cuts (unfortunately, I dont know her name) and she does a fantastic job -- excellent style -- way better than anything at the chain salons and the price is the same.

I love this place. The ladies are so nice and dedicated to providing best service. They welcome walk in customers the same way they welcome appointment customers. However, appointment customers are preferred of course.
