Let me start by saying that I rarely write reviews, but in this case it seemed necessary. I have been going to John at Midway Cleaners for nearly 2 years. During that time he was always pleasant. His prices were much higher than Im used to paying but I assumed that was simply the price I had to pay to use the "best dry cleaners" in the Clackamas area. Well unfortunately that all changed. Over the last several months I started to notice a huge drop off in that friendly service & quality Id been paying for. His staff all of the sudden became very rude and were demeaning to my girlfriend on several occasions. Then to make matters worse I had three brand new shirts get ruined or at least come out looking old and used. This to me was unacceptable especially with amount of money I pay to have my clothes taken care of. But when I approached John about the damaged shirts he tried to tell me that it was somehow my fault. I was blown away, I mean how could me dropping off brand new shirts that then became faded and over pressed be my fault? So I told him how ridiculous that sounded and he instantly turned and pointed fingers at his staff stating that they were incompetent and that its too bad about my shirts but thats the gamble I take by bringing my clothes to him. Whoa.. really?? I honestly couldnt believe my ears. I mean standing in front of me was a grown man who was willing to blame everyone else to avoid taking ownership of "his" companys mistake. I mean what kind of person does that? So I told him that I wanted him to reimburse me for one of the shirts since I could still order a new one. The other 2 unfortunately were no longer available for purchase. And his response was about as shocking as all of his others. He said sure I will pay you but do us both a favor and never come back. Again I am blown away at Johns lack of professionalism. I do not recommend Midway Cleaners unless you enjoy being charged a lot for poor quality work all while being treated poorly. Oh and if something ever happens to your clothes just know its your fault, not theirs.

Normally I dont write a review but in this case I just wanted to thank Mr John and his staff for the fast service and the top quality workmanship on my dry cleaning. Iam a otr trucker and get my dry cleaning done all over the United States and the service and workmanship is probably the best I have ever experienced. Without a doubt I will be back whenever I am in Clackamas again . thanks again

What a wonderful find! I called after they had already closed and the owner let me drop off some skirts after hours. When I picked them up he had gotten out some long-ago-given-up-on stins and my skirts looked new again. So glad to finally find a dry cleaner that cares!!

The gentleman who worked up front, presumably the owner, was so pleasant and kind when I called, as well as in person. I paid $10 to have a patch sewn onto a scrub tee. My experience was quite exceptional and I would definitely go back.

Worst "dry cleaning" ever. Brought in a brand new shirt to have dry cleaned and they laundered it and ruined the shirt. The ass hat behind the counter told us to "be more proactive next time" and wouldnt even apologize. Never again.
