At first this shop was very nice and approachable but it all changed when I had not heard from them in 2 days after I dropped off my vehicle. I had to call the shop numerous times and leaving message after message. After three weeks of having my car, Stan(the owner) James (his worker) finally worked on my car. They told me they had to wait for special parts form the dealer that they couldnt find (Supposedly). The frustrating part is that I had to always call them to check on the status of my car. When I finally got my truck back, it worked for a day but the symptoms that I had before I took it to the shop came back. I took the truck back and again after having it for 48 hours I again had to call to check on the status of the truck. James told me they found another problem that they didnt see the first time. I got so irritated that I picked up my truck, took it to the dealer and that same day not only did I get an answer back on what was wrong with my truck It was fixed. I would recommend they work on their customer service and their timeliness. If there are to many cars to work on then maybe they should hire more mechanics.

I decided to try this business after reading prior reviews on Google and Yahoo - I am absolutely THRILLED with the results. I bought an older class C motorhome and dash AC did not work, the prior owner said it hadnt worked for 8 years. I was prepared for a huge bill to replace all sorts of parts. Affordable Automotive pressure tested the system, found and tightened a loose fitting, and after pressure testing again, charged the system with new coolant. The entire repair took less than 2 hours and the repair cost was more than reasonable. The owner (Stan) is very personable and customer oriented, his philosophy is to look for problems first and only replace parts if necessary - the exact opposite of going to a new car dealers service department. Affordable Automotive has earned all my business going forward - what a great local business!

This is a small shop with a big heart. I took my Mazda here after the dealership asked me for $1800 (after a $120 diagnostic fee) to repair everything that the "might" have been causing the problem. Affordable Auto debunked the dealerships BS, found the root problem, and had my Mazda running perfect for under $100. I spent a little extra to have some other work done at the same time after talking with the machanic which saved my even more $$$. Ive been there every time I need repairs that I cant/don;t want to do myself. Its a bit of a drive from where I live and work but its well worth it for the piece of mide you get from an honest shop.

Stan and James both have been great. Never has the price gone up once Stan quoted it, and once when we had some baffling electrical problem(I thought I had a broken timing belt) we got it there and they figured out what it really was and fixed it for $81. DEQ stuff twice with different vehicles, no sweat Weve never been overcharged We will never go anywhere else as long as those guys are there..

We chanced on this shop when we first moved to town and we are glad we did. We have had different vehicles repaired here and have always been pleased. Stan (the owner) charges a fair price and is a straight shooter. We even bought a used car that he had overhauled, and it has run better than our other cars! I would recommend anyone to Affordable without hesitation.

Beware this place! Failed DEQ for knock sensor error. After taking my car here the tech indicated the engine needed replaced for $3500. I called BS, went to autozone and bought $80 sensor and error cleared and passed DEQ. QUACK, Beware you will get scammed if you look gullible.

Very dishonest business practices. I took my car to get no start issue diagnosed. When they called they said they put a new distributor in ( didnt ask if I wanted them to) and my bill was nearly $600. I will never return nor recommend. Feeling conned.

All the guys are always friendly. I love the fact that they dont treat me like im just a dumb girl. I have had my truck in a couple times now and could not be happier with the prices and the money they saved me. These guys are a fair honest shop.

My Dad and I brought our 67 Mustang in for some carburetor work and we were quite impressed with the results when we picked up the vehicle. Stan knows his stuff and offered great service at a very reasonable price.
