I had my first appointment at Salon DeLange today with Melissa Lewis. I was recommended by two women, whom I stopped in a store to question about their hair cuts! I recognized a skillful cut. I think we are all in search of the perfect hair cut and style, and they gave me her number. I had a very pleasurable experience at the salon and left with a wonderful cut and style. Melissa was helpful and friendly, questioning me extensively before shampooing. I loved the shampoo room, and Melissa gave an excellent head massage, I didnt want it to end. Back at her station, she explained to me the products she used, and was not pushy in trying to sell them, which I really appreciate. She went on to cut my hair, discussing what she was doing all the while, it is always a bit nerve wracking the first time you go to a stylist but I felt totally calm and relaxed in her hands. I was even more pleased when she showed me how she was using the brushes to blow out my style, what a treat to actually know what to do when we get home and are on our own. I thought that it was $50. worth spending for such a relaxing, positive experience! Kudos to the owner/manager for attention to details. I am a part-time resident here but I will be a regular client of Melissas and Salon DeLange when I am in the Eugene area. I will also not hesitate to recommend your services to my friends.

I am a curly hair girl and humidity plays tricks with my hair. It is very think and long. I had a consult at Salon DeLange and we decided a Brazilian Blowout would be a great treatment for my hair. After I was done, my hair was so soft and I was amazed at how smooth it was! My hair is getting healthier and it is so much more manageable since the Brazilian Blowout. I have actual STRANGERS stop me to let me know how pretty my hair is, they just reach out and touch it, which is creepy but complimentary :) I never do anything to my hair but wash it, condition and dry naturally so I was not sure.... Salon DeLange got me in for an apt in a timely manner and really treated me like a VIP Its unfortunate that I only need to do this once every 6 months because Salon DeLange is AWESOME!!!! Im so happy with my hair now that I dont have to manipulate it any more. Even better it dries quick and stays so SOFT!

This is the best place I have ever had my hair done, and I have been to a lot of places! I have pretty tough hair, thick, wavy in all different directions. But every time I leave this salon I am more than happy! The gal I see is Corey and she does magnificent, shes also pleasant to be around, as are all the others who work there, they are always kind and considerate. I have been going here for over 4 years, maybe even 5 by now. I have recommended it to many different people, family included, and they have never been disappointed! Salon De Lange, the place to go! Thanks!!!

I totally agree with the 5-star rating for Rita Merrill @Salon de Lange. Moved to Eugene 5+ yrs ago; didnt know anyone in town. Saw a really cute short haircut at a school meeting and asked who cut it. Ive been going to Rita ever since. I have a lot of very fine hair and she knows just what to do with it that looks good on me AND that I can style. Good colorist too. Very easy-going personality. I have 12 & 15 yr-old-boys, and they now go to Rita. One short hair, one "Bieber" haircut. They really like her and her hair cuts. All good!

I was highly recommended by others to see Rita Merrel and finally did. I never trusted scissors to texture my hair ever. In the past I only let people use a special razor tool to do the texturing that made my hair possible to look good. In the end Rita out did any textured cut I have ever received and it was done by scissors! I had my wife go in and she got an amazing cut too. Ive never seen her so attractive. She has a magic touch with the scissors.

I recently moved to Eugene. I have been a fan of my previous stylist for eight years, but she is in Vancouver. Rather than driving four hours to get my hair done, I tried Rita Merrill at Salon DeLange. I have been very happy with Ritas cutting skills, and she keeps up to date on training and techniques so I dont have to worry that Ill be running around with an "outdated do". If you are looking for a hairsytlist in Eugene, I highly recommend Rita.

Rita Merrill at Salon De lange is amazing! she is always so great at getting me in on short notice and every time I get my hair done I walk out of the salon IN LOVE with my hair! The atmosphere of the salon is hip and modern yet very relaxing. Rita always knows the perfect color and style for me to put a smile on my face. I recommend her to all of my friends and everyone I talk to about hair!

Nice salon, great products and nice stylist, but completely outrageous prices. I paid $55 for a pretty basic hair trim. Ive been to salons where you can get a scalp massage and a great cut for around $30, but they were in Portland. Maybe its just a Eugene thing - not enough competition or something - but Im never going to Salon DeLange again!
