I have bought the majority of my new tires from Les Schwab for the past 12 years, as a result I gotta say I am a fan of Les Schwab and I find some of the reviews on here a bit irritating. The people who do these reviews are often visitors to the area that dont understand why there are not dozens of employees ready to do they every bidding right away. It is hard to maintain a large staff in a small resort town and during the busiest season there just isnt the ability to have someone available to run out and greet you instantly. I have always gotten great service in a timely fashion. I say timely because sometimes they are, in fact, short handed and cant get to me instantly. My parents tried to teach me a little something called patience. Anyway, everything from free air in my tires, or taking care of the same for my wife, to rotating my tires for free they have done a reliable job. Perhaps they arent smiling every time I am there rather late, almost closing time, but after the long days they have at such a difficult job I dont hold it against them at all, even in my prime I would be tired doing what they do all day. Plus, when they engage me they will usual smile because I am pleasant and decent to them and most people respond well to such encounters. Thank you to Jeremy, Ben, Andy, and all of the staff at Les Schwab for your help and assistance over the years.

Here is the prelude to stopping at LS in Lincoln city! Went in Thursday morning 7-13 at 8:00 at the Oak Grove store for a tire rotation before a road trip. I figured that first in, first out especially with no cars on the lifts. Sat down with coffee, pop corn and reading material. 15 minutes go by and my car had not moved from its parking spot. Two employees, I could only think they were thinking they were management, continued their conversation. I heard one worker in the shop. I finally have had enough of the front end bonding and asked for my key, of which they retrieved from the "worker". I got no reason nor an apology. If they were short on morning help the up front Mr Cleans should have done the Les Schwab thing and at least got my car on the lift but, I guess the "LS thing" wasnt working that day. As an added feature for the "LS thing" dont ever stop at the Lincoln City LS! The next day(Friday) took us 3 hours for a, as we were told a 1 to 1-1/2 hour time frame, watching molasses move just to get a nail a tire repair. Do these stores not understand that my three cars and two more in the family, plus all of the years we have been loyal to LS, can get tires ANYWHERE!

I have been buying my tires and batteries from Les Schwab since 1973. Started with Jeff Gaddis (sp) on SE 82nd Street in portland and our relationship stopped when Jeff retired from the West Linn Store. Moved to Lincoln City in 1996 and found the store to be lacking in service compared to the Portland Stores (ie coming to your car to see how they could help you) This was one of the reasons I started buying from Les Schwab; that dedication to service. On 3/22/16 I called for a price on a battery. Jeremy the mgr. gave me a price of 128.99 and did not say there was for the battery only. I told him that I would have to install the battery because the car was dead in my driveway and was there a discount for not installing and he said $10.00 was for installing which meant to me the battery would cost 118.99. Jeremy argued with me over our conversation the prior day but finally said to give me 10.00 off to make me happy, He made my feel like I was cheating Les Schwab out off 10.00. He ever said he was sorry for the miss communication and walk off to his office. To me to loose a longtime customer over $10.00 is not smart LES SCHWAB.

We had a flat tire while we were in Depoe Bay last week. We called AAA and they came and put our spare on and directed us to Lincoln City to get the flat repaired which had a small nail in it. The AAA man checked our tire pressure in the other tires he said 2 of the 3 were high and we should have them check it at Les Schwab when we were getting the tire repaired. Les Schwab was able to fit us right in and repair our flat. My husband asked them to check the tire pressure in all 4 tires before we left as we had 1200 miles to drive on our vacation still. When he said the car was ready he also said he had checked the tire pressure in all tires and we were good to go. When we got home to San Diego we took the car in to get the tires rotated which were 2 years old. The technician said he had to adjust the tire pressure in 3 of the tires as it was dangerously high at 65 - 70 psi (Normal is 30 psi). He said we were lucky we didnt have a blow out on the way home. I would recommend that you eyeball the pressure gauge yourself if you ask them to do anything. You never know what life you are putting as risk if you dont.

Went in for a quote to replace tie rod ends on my car, the woman at the counter was very rude about the fact that I want a quote for something that wasnt broken, I explained that my car is getting up there in miles and I want them replaced, she said "we dont take our customers word for issues we would need to look at it first" as irritated as I was I allowed them to look at it and quote me a price, it took them an hour just to look at it, $650 and a month wait for parts, I then took my car to Gerber tire right down the street, $300 and they had the parts the next day, no questions asked, needless to say I will no longer be coming to this location

On vacation 7/7/2015, just got to town with a slow leak in a tire. It was 5:15pm. Stood in the lobby for 15 minutes, 2 employees walked in and never acknowledged we were even there!! Understand its close to quitting time but at least acknowledge your customers! It was a slow leak so even if they couldnt fix it today they could at least saved me the $1 at the gas station to put air in the tire until tomorrow when they could get it in...

We went in to get tired filled. Found out we had a screw in one tire. They said it would be about an hour or less waiting time. Hour and half later we asked they said 10 more mins 30 mins later I went and got my keys back. They took 4 drive ups after we got there. One guy said he had been waiting over 2hrs just to get his battery checked. This place needs more ppl working there.

Stopped to get my snow tires put on (Les Schwab tires of course) today. This is the only Les Schwab location that has never run out to our vehicle. Trying to decide if we just dont matter or our business is taken for granted. Lady at the counter was efficient yet unsmiling nor friendly. Wait time for the tires was normal. Dunno. I may come back.
