I moved to Portland about four months ago and I want to say its because of Adecco and their excellent staff why I have been able to support myself since. Every single week I have been assigned to jobs. When any type of trouble or situation comes up (I.E. Assignment manager suddenly realizes the company doesnt need two temps, so sends you back home) Adecco has taken care of it quickly (I.E. Get me another assignment). Jennie, Brook, thanks so much! Now, to all haters (I just read those comments below). Adeccos job is to match you to an employer, ask you if you want an assignment, and set you up so you can show up and start working. If you dont like the assignment, cant handle work related interpersonal relationships and find an opportunity to generate conflict all of the time; if you think the assignment is "dumb work", boring, or if you think youre better than everyone else and hence go to work with a frown on your forehead. If you think Adeccos staff are your personal secretaries (or even mommy) supposed to resolve all issues for you - and quickly. If you think you are doing a favor to them, or even to the company youre assigned to, if you blame the staffing agency for a decision that comes from the assignment company; then let me say that youre being a child. The economy, the housing problem, unemployment and underemployment is not only real but also affecting every single one of us reaching for temp work. So stop the blaming and be at least positive that you have an offer for assignment. Yeah, even in graveyard shifts!

Horrible, Ive been sick and missed work. And i still am sick a (cold). And this company, decides to punish me by not paying me when Im suppose to be paid. I was suppose to get paid on Thursday, well here it is Saturday and i still have not been paid! Even though i called on friday to ask about my pay. The lady i talked to said my timecard was processed late and i should receive my check via direct deposit by friday afternoon or Saturday. Well nope, i think she just told me that so she wouldnt have to deal with me. Keep in mind this has happened two other times as well.... Its like they like to punish there employees by not paying them on time if they miss work or end there assignment. This is messed up, and i am 99% sure i probably wont get paid by monday either. You cant mess with peoples lifes like this its wrong. Its not a game because your mad about somebody not being able to come to work. Your messing with someones life, the way they pay there rent and bills. And now because of this i get a late fee for my rent. Thanks adecco (portland branch) for making my life more stressed out than it already is!

I worked on assignment with Adecco for over 2 years and I must say it was an amazing experience. Being able to communicate with individuals in a staffing company and they make you feel like a person and not like a number was very impressive to me. Brook Poggi is an amazing Professional who helps you to soar in your career path. She reviewed my resume and decided it was time for me to advance to the next level. Landing me an Awesome opportunity that has been a benefit to me ever since. It was (what I like to say) a career shift that caused me to utilize and advance my current skills, while learning other skills to help me better perform my duties. My perception of her, as well as, the others in this Adecco Office is, they are not only Recruiters, but also Mentors and Motivators who are Personable, Passionate, and always Professional at what they do. So if you are looking to work for a Staffing Company that truly cares about its clients and treats you like a person and NOT like a number; then Adecco Staffing @121 SW Morrison St. is the place to go.

They connected me with an amazing job but they have had constant mistakes sense the hiring proces started. 1 they gave everyone the wrong info for the job from the beginning 2 when it was time to start our first day no one had the right address. 3 the start date kept being pushed back. 4 i have been working there for 2 pay periods and have not received a dime because they messe up on my direct deposit info multiple times so they sent my check threw snail mail instead of overnighting it to me. All this after they had an internal error not allowing me to input my hours to get paid in the first place. And 5 the agent who connected me with the job was gone more than she was in the office and because she didnt know much of anything is the reason everything got so messed up. I will NEVER go threw adecco again to find q job and i will never advise any of my friends or family to use them either.

Please pay attention to these reviews. I didnt and now Im regretting it. I had problems with an employee picking on me for whatever reason. Even though I was there to work and not cause problems someone felt the need to do so. I told 2 Supervisors about this person and they did nothing. I eventually I told the office people because it got zoo bad that I had to switch shifts. Instead of terminating the problem mark all they said they did was talk to her. Because of this person and the lack of effort in their part I missed a couple of days work. Im glad I double checked my pay because they also didnt pay me the proper amount and got upset with me when I called them out on it. Im still waiting on my difference in pay that I made the beginning of last month...

Start here! The team is great to say the least. My best experience with a staffing agency yet. As soon I as walked through the door I was greeted in a friendly manner and was directed to Shea, who immediately matched my resume with a number of potential positions and referred me to Jennie and Brook (from the same branch) who found a position that was a perfect fit for me fast. In the meantime before starting said position, they even found a single day position, which was a great experience! They understand the partnership aspect fully and will actually communicate with you. With your personal preferences and with your skill sets, they will do their best to place you. My second time working with Adecco and they havent let me down. Thanks Adecco!

I went threw Adecco to be a Operations Technician Assistant on site at Google in the Dalles and all I can say is that it was a waste of time. I enjoyed my work and did well or so I was told. However out of the blue Adecco Called me up at 10:30pm at night and told me my position was over and that I should not report to work tomorrow. They said that I did good work and it wasnt performance related. I just wasnt needed any longer. Guess I should have known temp work wouldnt turn into full time work. In my honest opinion DO NOT WORK FOR ADECCO NO MATTER WHAT!

Adecco is a great company, but the Portland branch is pathetic indeed. Whereas I could expect well-paid administrative work in Seattle, the PDX branch seems to have nothing but dull, degrading make-work and data entry gigs in dirty, far-flung labor farms. "Hey! Wanna make $8 an hour putting tags on blouses in Gresham? Its a graveyard shift!" It doesnt take very long to sign up, but I guarantee you its a waste of time.
