I took my expensive bedding in to be cleaned and pressed. (Ive taken these items to several cleaners around Portland and Beaverton and have never had an issue.) I was horrified when I arrived to pick them up after the week they said it would take only to find that they had not only NOT CLEANED THEM, but in their efforts to press them to make them appear that they had been cleaned, they STAINED them. It appeared that water had gotten on the press and they had burned the bedding (similar to an accident with an iron at home). After giving the owner every opportunity to correct the error he only argued with me in front of other customers (attempting to embarrass me by trying to bring them into the argument). This lasted for 30 minutes before I finally gave him half the cost of the so-called "cleaning" and left with my items. Hopefully a PROFESSIONAL cleaner will be able to correct the damage or Ill have to buy new items. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!! The items were left dirtier than when I took them in. It made me wonder if theyve ever actually cleaned an item or if they just spray Febreze on them and press them for the appearance of cleaning. Mind you, Ive never seen anyone actually working the cleaning at this location so theres absolutely no guarantee that any cleaning is actually being done.
