I called in May to reserve 22 chairs and four tables for my July Wedding in Yachats, OR. I was quoted the price and informed of the deliveries fees, etc. Afterwards Danielle told me that she would email me the invoice soon. An entire month passed and I hadnt received anything. We were now into June and a month from the wedding. I emailed her to find out what had happened. She wrote back the next day and said "this is not normal - call me". Not, "Im sorry this happened! Let me look into it and get back to you" but no, I had to call her. Which I did and it took a few days to get her on the phone. When I did she acted as if we had never talked and she didnt know what I was talking about. After some refreshing details from me she found my order and told me I hadnt paid the delivery fee or provided the address of the event and that is why I didnt have the invoice yet. When we initially spoke I gave her credit card information. If the delivery had not been paid for it would have been because of her because I had given her payment information. She never said that they would be two separate charges or that I would have to make two separate charges. I told her the initial day I would Pay in ful. And in regards to the address - I HAD to give it to her when we initially spoke so that she would know if she was able to deliver the table and chairs. When she did finally email me the invoice you can see on it that it was dated the first day we spoke and had all the info... We got things sorted out and she didnt charge me the delivery fee as a courtesy for essentially losing all my information. I appreciated this but would have rather not been frustrated in the first place. The week of my wedding we confirm a drop off time for the table and chairs. An hour goes by from the time that they were supposed to be dropped off. I called her. She told me She will be a little while longer. I ask her for a specific time. She asks to confirm the address AGAIN. That time Passes. HOURS GO BY AND EACH TIME I HAVE TO CALL HER. She never once called me to update me. I was very obviously not a priority to her. The tables and chairs were supposed to be dropped off at 4:30 PM and were not dropped off until 9:50 PM. That is so unacceptable. The day before my wedding I dont know if the tables and chairs are going to be there. It Wasnt even that many table and chairs! And It wasnt even Danielle dropping them off. It was her husband pulling them out of the back of a pick up truck and hes alone so my guests have to help him Unload. And when I called her at 8:30 PM for an update all she does is give me your husbands number and tells me to call him. No one at this company will contact you even though it is their business and their job to inform you of things. I then speak with Danielle to confirm the pick up the day after the wedding and we decide on 11 AM. At 10:20AM shes there. I like that she was early but we werent ready for her. But they get the table and chairs and load them up and then she wants to hug me to congratulate me. After everything that it happened how unprofessional and inappropriate. It was so obvious that she didnt care at all about the stress or worry that she had caused me during such an important time in my life. The table and chairs were fine as a product themselves so I will give two stars.

Sue the owner of Oregon Coast Rentals is not the person to contact for any rentals with her company. She is rude, not accommodating and she has no idea on how to deliver customer service. Sue has made it clear that she has no interest in bringing in new business. She is difficult to contact and pushes people into contracts that are not true to the situation at hand. True - their business does have great products - however I spent 30 days and over 40 emails discussing an arrangement that was clearly very simple and easy to understand - a) I would rent the tent and be liable for the tent for one day and the next day another person would be liable and rent the tent. b) I would have rented it solely for the weekend however she pushed us into keeping us locked into a contract (by naming a policy last minute) that stated I alone would be liable for the tent over the entire weekend knowing very well that there were two MORE events that would be using the tent - how was this fair? c) after treating my venue rudely and pushed them into a corner. d) that last minute policy I stated above - WHO DOES NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS ON A SUNDAY if youre in the event business.... and CHARGE DOUBLE the delivery price of a normal day??? How difficult is it to add names and dates to a contract to bring in almost $2k in business??? I guess it MUST be because she just lost business from not only three people but from being recommended by the ONLY wedding venue in Cannon Beach, OR. Sue/Oregon Coast Rentals is NOT the place to go if youre looking for a smooth rental for your event. Again - pushy, rude, last minute policies, unclear contracts and CLEARLY does not know how to Cc: in an email. As a business owner I suggest she learn quickly.

I ordered beach chairs and an arch for my wedding. It took me multiple attempts to get a quote from them because they did not return calls promptly. But they were very nice and explained they were busy. I paid close to $500 for 50 chairs, set up, delivery, arch and beach permit. I called Danielle the day before the wedding to confirm everything and had to remind her who I was and where/when my event was. My wedding was at 5pm and she told me they would be set up on the beach by 1pm. Between 2pm-4:30pm myself, my husband and wedding party placed multiple calls to Danielle asking where the chairs were and our calls were ignored. They finally arrived at 4:30pm to start the set up for my 5:00 ceremony! No apologies or anything. The guests had to crown around while waiting for their seating to arrive. They never gave me a copy of my beach permit. While they were setting up we asked them to hang ONE decoration on the arch only because it was a high arch and they said "no we are not paid for that". They did rake the sand but then they walked all over it after so my groomsmen re-raked it. My wedding party had to help with a lot of set up for them to finish in time. All around I was very disappointed. These people were the reason the hours before the ceremony were filled with so much worry and stress and they did nothing to explain themselves about being so late. I would have rather paid more for a company that came through as promised.

Danielle and her hard-working crew arrived late to set up the morning of our 4pm wedding, but were quick to make it right and flexible in designing the available space at the event center with tables, chairs, and linens. They were particularly good at setting up their high-quality dance floor inside and creative with the lovely lighting above it, which our guests raved about at the reception. Communication can be tricky with Danielle, but she is extremely busy as one of the only event rental companies on the central Oregon coast (especially in the summer). She is conscientious about getting back to you as soon as she can, so you need to be patient and follow up with emails, etc.
