No longer are potential employees interviewed or tested, one is told that they do not have jobs one is seeking or no qualifications for their current openings. How can someone know what job a person is seeking without talking to them? When I pressed two of their employees by phone for a reason why I was not qualified for ANY position (I have a degree and over 20 years of experience), I was told I made their employees uncomfortable and that, because I previously continued to check for potential employment through their office while I still held another job, I did not respect their rules for not taking anyone currently employed. ***I was never interviewed nor skills tested.*** I can remember when I worked second jobs through Bonney in Portland to supplement my full time income. No longer! That is considered disrespectful per the manager of this office. Also, because their services are free to applicants, I was told there is no time for career counseling , i.e. letting someone know why they would not qualify for ANY current position. Worst service ever!! Other agencies in Bangor are much more accomodating and personable.

SAVE TIME AND HASSLE AND HIRE DIRECT! Having used Bonney from both the Employer and the Employee sides of service, I have to say they provide very disappointing service, all the way around. On the Employer side, the candidates we were matched with were unsuited to our needs. Using the service from the Employee side, I can see why - Bonneys methods make it extraoridnarily difficult for suitable candidates to respond to the appropriate ad. Inquiries to the agency to resolve difficulties are unhelpful; customer service is more interested in the blow-off than in legitimate assistance.

I am very worried by the lack of professionalism in this company. I was in an interview and the fat lady conducting the interview made the assumption that I wouldnt be able to meet the requirements without consulting me first. She denied helping me even though Ive been chronically unemployed for over seven months. This place has no genuine concern to help people. They are the epitome of Mainer trash.

Misleading! Thought I was going for a job interview. Turned out the interview was for Bonney Staffing to be put in their files for future jobs available.

Bonney Staffing has been very helpful in fulfilling our need for temporary office assistants.
