I went there to get my beard trim. Do not expect them to know anything about styling, they did not get what I wanted. They cut too much on one side than the other, they did not even shaved the neckline and the check, they just used a trimmer. They over cut my sideburns. They did a terrible job. They might be good for buzz cut, and 5 year kids who need a cheap cut, but as barber they are awful. Apart from being cheap I still don’t understand why men would go there to get a haircut or beard trim, unless tehy want to look like they are in the military.

I went there for a haircut, which was indeed a good haircut and quite reasonably priced at $18. However, they asked if I wanted my beard trimmed and I said no. And the next thing I know, the guy has his trimmers on my jawline taking off the entire underside of my beard. Despite the look of horror on my face, he then took them to my cheek and took off a large chunk there. If you go here, you better mask off your beard or make it EXPLICIT that you dont want it altered. They will trim what they please.

Just recently moved back home to the Philly area and had gone to a bunch of barber shops looking for the best high and tight (Im in the National Guard). Was in Ardmore apartment searching and decided to drop into Troncellitis. Jim was my guy and he rocked it. Will definitely be frequenting there, regardless of where I end up moving to.

The guy who said 18$ was expensive is nuts!!! Dude, where are you from? I work in a barber shop that charges 35$. I bet they gave you a great cut, next time go down the street to hair cuttery and pay 15$ where youll have someone fresh out if school shop your hair up!!

Ive been to the worst and this shop is best on Main line. James did an amazing fade today. He missed no detail and was very sure to give me my moneys worth. This shop has been around for ages and they still perform with flawless precission.

Great classic barber shop. James is great, I think I have heard him utter 5 words, but his work speaks for itself. I made the mistake of going to another "barber" in the borough I moved to after Ardmore...Ill not make that mistake again

Been going to Troncellitis for nearly 20 years. Always get a great cut. No difficulty getting an appointment. Mike has been cutting my hair for a number of years and my chief critic at home tells me he does a marvelous job.
