I went there last Friday 6/17 after calling to see if they were opened and if busy? I got a busy signal at first but then I called back and a woman answered and had answered my questions. So my wife and I walked down to this place. At first i like the decor and thought it was little too flashy but the wife liked it. There was a woman standing behind the counter on the phone when we walked in, she had looked at us and then turned around. Never once acknowledging us, just kept talking in a quite voice. She then left behind the counter and went to the back room. I timed the length of time we sat there wondering if we were ever going to be addressed?? 7 min 40 sec i told my wife lets go. The woman apparently is not interested in Customers. As we opened the door to proceed to leave I turned around and saw her stick her head out from behind the back room walk still holding the phone and I basically motioned to my wrist watch and said we are leaving and you never got off the phone. I welcome the owners to respond and explained there employee actions. Though I suggest she might find a job that she likes doing

Swarthmore Barbershop is amazing! They have comfortable couches, chairs, a fireplace and a flat screen TV. I never have to wait, so I started bringing my boys with me so I could enjoy the ambiance longer. The place is amazingly clean and cosy. My wife loved my boys haircuts so much that this is the only place they are allowed to get a cut now. They do mens and womens haircuts AND dont forget the hot towel shave! My face feels like a babies bottom!!! The barber chairs are so comfortable that I fall asleep each time. The best part about treating yourself to all this is how much value you get for your money. I always think they forgot to charge me for something. You feel welcome, you feel good when you leave and you look forward to your next visit!!

Take my bf here for his hair cuts. They do a fantastic job! After he had a stroke, I took him here to get a hair cut (was in the hospital for a month and a half)and a shave. Was very touched with the employees and how they handled my bf. They were so sweet and acommadating. Recently was in there and had Kris cut my hair which I was nervous about because I have had only one person cut my hair since I was a baby. She rocked it! Thank you Kris, Metta, and Faith for everything! We will be forever customers!

This place is super nice and Faith was extremely friendly. The energy in the shop is excellent and they did a fantastic job with my haircut. I came here because they had so many good reviews and now I can definitely see why. It was just an all around great experience. This is definitely going to be my barber shop of choice from now on. I highly recommend them! They are the real deal. Two thumbs up!

This is a top notch, old school style barbershop. I travel a good 45 minutes to reach them. Bobby and Faith are great. They know their stuff and they know how to trim a beard. So does the owner, Kris... but shes never there when the schedule says shell be there. Thats my only gripe. Other than that I love it. Nice atmosphere, super affordable too. Im moving and Im really going to miss this place.

Its kind of bizarre to see the old building front and then step into a modern barbershop. Really liked it. And faith was great. Very friendly and new exactly what I wanted because she asked questions and go figure, she listened too!. I will go back again. Thats a fact.

Probably best haircut of my life from Faith. Excellent service and value. But I waited nearly 2 hours for it. If this shop accepted appointments Id be back, but its just too hard to predict the wait time. Will check back to see if that changes!
