Chef Frank is probably the most unorganized& unprofessional person I have ever worked with. I had done 4 tailgate parties w/him last year, and it was chaotic, but ok. He paid well & was a decent guy.. so I thought. This guy is a pure bipolar phycopath, who txt me profanity riddled txt messages for 2 days because he asked for help, and I brought a younger less qualified person in to help out. He has knife skills, but doesnt understand Culinary French.. told frank that... the kid didnt show up, so he accused me of stealing his coat, he didnt pay me correctly at all, still owes me $140. Asked me if he could apologize then before I could call him, started berating me by txt & email. This guy is unsanitary, he thinks wearing gloves is "pretentious", he was absent for 75% of the prep& couldnt even tell me& the guy I worked w/ where the party was being held!! If you are a chef, or good cook, stay away from this guy.. he is a horrible person & rude & demeaning. The claim that he uses GMO free meats& locally grown produce is a LIE... he goes to Aldi & Costco. Good luck!!!

My review is based on customer service. I contacted Chef Frank inquiring about catering for a bridal shower party. Unfortunately his prices were just a bit too high for what we were looking for. We had around 100 people for a bridal shower and we were just looking to save some cash. I loved the idea of a chef catering for our event, and I would have gladly thought of him again if I needed him for a smaller event. I love to cook myself and I like to know what is in my foods and what I am eating, and that is what I liked about the chef idea. However when I told him we were no longer needing his services he wished me on my way and told me to enjoy the frozen foods other caterers would provide. As someone who owns a business that is a very poor choice of words and something you do not say to a possible future customer. But now I will never be a future customer due to that rude comment.

Dealing with Chef Frank was a pleasure. Very courteous, very professional. Can’t wait until the next time we get to work with him. The variety of food was incredible. We couldn’t have asked for more choice, more flexibility or better quality of food. Our entire group enjoyed the food, service and of course, the great atmosphere created by Chef Frank. We do a yearly football game and will be in touch with Chef Frank in the future for sure. It was a pleasure every step of the way. Thank you so much Chef Frank!

Hired Chef Helisek to cook for my parents as a gift for their wedding anniversary. He put together a three course menu that adhered to their dietary restrictions (and it received rave reviews!) Chef was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an in-home chef or for an event.
