We parked in back and walked by a couple of smokers that were obviously working. A good sign. We had a good experience here. It was Wednesday night at 9pm, the kitchen closed in an hour -- no problem, we still had time to eat. Our waitress was excellent, very friendly and attentive. My companion had the Slop Sandwich, which, while sounding horrific and slightly embarrassing, was delicious. I had the Low Down and Dirty sandwich -- pulled pork with onions and peppers. Delicious. Other reviews here mention the food being cold. Ours was not piping hot, but it was sort of warm. Fortunately, neither of us really care about that -- it was delicious. Good beers too. I also dug the decor. We were retreating from ridiculously cold Canadian winter weather, so sitting in an open-air place having bbq -- excellent. Would go again. Maybe tomorrow.

I start by saying our server did a great job. Most everything else was different. We live in Cocoa Beach but have never been to this place before. We both ordered the full combo plate, just to be able to try a little of each meat they offer. The beef brisket is CHEAP meat. It was tough to chew and very fatty. The shredded pork was dry. The ribs and chicken were better but only a little bit. A side of apple sauce was so runny, I could drink it our of the little bowl it was served in. When we go to a BBQ / Smokehouse restaurant, you expect the meats to be of quality grade and taste good - without - any type of sauces. In order to even try and enjoy the meats at this place, you have to smother everything with some type of sauce, just to eat it. Its more of a tourist spot, with over priced low quality food.

Mixed feelings. Waitress was friendly but brought out cold food. Baked beans were smokey delicious, but had more smoke flavor then pulled pork and brisket. The meat was tender but slightly dry and lacked the smokeyness I expected. Tomato basil soup was really good after they heated it up in the chipped soup crock. Garlic mashed potatoes lacked garlic and didnt melt the butter. Glad I asked for a fresh portion. I had the Hog sandwich which was a hot dog bun piled with warm not hot meat. The sweet tea was not very sweet and I give the waitress for trying but adding a sugar pack isnt the same. The chipotle sauce was sweet with some heat and very good. The mild and sweet table sauce were the same flavor and not good. I cant see going back just for baked beans and average food quality.

Food is very good. Second time Ive been here. First time I purchased one of the 23 ounce beer glasses. Waitress said that the next time I come back bring the glass and I will get 40% off of my beer. Turns out they gave me 40% off the price that I would have paid if I purchased another glass with my beer????? Ended up paying regular price for the beer. Some deal. Didnt actually question the waitress about the charge. Maybe they made a mistake. Then again she wasnt around much. Beer glass almost dried out between visits. Again, food was very good. Ill go back again and see if they can make it right. Once again, food is very good. Did I say that enough? Only three stars though because I feel a bit cheated.

My family and I love the Slow & Low BBQ in Cocoa Beach, so we decided to try the new location in Viera. I have to say that I was not impressed. The waitress was slow and inexperienced. My wife and I ordered beef brisket platters and my daughter ordered fish. The beef brisket was not cooked like we are accustomed to at Cocoa Beach. At the Cocoa Beach location, you can smell and taste the smoke favor. What we got at Viera did not have any smoke taste and did not look the same or taste the same. You can tell the staff and chef are not up the standards at the original location in Cocoa Beach. I would not go back there. I would return to Cocoa Beach location. My daughter said she liked the fish.

Ive always had great food at Slow & Low. However, the service has been remarkably bad. Ive gone probably 6 or 7 times, and my last visit was unfortunately the last visit I will make. After charging me for a refill on my lemonade (I have never heard of being charged for a non-alcoholic drink refill), the manager not only refused to acknowledge that I had a valid complaint, she walked off without even saying anything at all. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable to me as a customer, and I will take my business elsewhere as there are plenty of barbecue places to go.

Pulled pork was good, no doubt. But we waited a long time both to be waited on and for food, even though it was not all that busy. When the food finally came, it was cold. $4 Kids meals did not include drinks, that was a 1.90 per drink per kid surprise. They had chicken tenders which were blah. I really wanted to like this place, the staff was nice, menu awesome, and the decor very cool. Might give it one more shot. But there are so many great places to eat in Cocoa and Cape Canaveral, it will be hard to justify.

Driest pulled pork Ive ever ordered from a restaurant. It was so dry that even their bbq sauce couldnt save it. The flavor of the sauces were tasty. I also ordered fried pickles, they were just "okay", barely any breading coating the pickles. I tried my friends dish, they had the spare ribs, they werent dry or bland but definitely not good enough to order again. Sorry guys, Im a bbq snob and this place was just too dry. Oh and the noseeum bugs were eating me alive outside! Get some pest control on that!

Was looking for some really good bbq but highly disappointed. It wasnt that the ribs and chicken were bad but the food seemed old. We couldnt eat the coleslaw or the fries, just nasty. The beans were average. There were 3 of us and we all agreed we will not be back. Its a shame bc I really feel they have potential. Service was good. Did not care for any of the sauces and thats a first at a bbq place. Fountain drinks were the best thing we ordered.

Awsom place best authentic BBQ I have ever eaten;) Have bean here several times and always great service and food. Coud change some of the sides. Wings (4-6 hours smoked) and the baby back ribs ( smoked over night) is out of this world..... Wensdays is kids night, Alex the ballon man is there and he makes great ballons fore the kids (this is free of charge and they eat for free too). Slow and Low rockes my world!!! Will be back;)

We go here everytime we go to Cocoa (from Orlando), and everything is always delicious. Ive never tried anything from here that I havent liked. Great pulled pork, brisket, sides, drinks, everything! Weve always gone at weird times so theres never anyone there. Id imagine its busier at night, but if not, dont let the fact that theyre dead fool you! Always great food, even in the middle of the day.
