This was all a scam job, called the night before due to a clogged drain in my kitchen and the operator said they couldn’t come until the following morning which was fine. I received a call the following morning explained the entire situation to the operator and asked if it would be covered under the clog crusher special that is so widely advertised the lady said yes it would be $93.00 plus $65.00 travel charge. I went on to schedule for 8-12 received 2 calls during that time stating that they were busy and not able to come yet. Finally got the call saying that he would be there in an hour. Me and my roommates all work daylight so I had my elderly mother at the house to be there while the plumber worked. The gentleman showed up introduced himself to my mother and then sat at the kitchen table and started filling out paperwork never looking at our kitchen sink. Mike then gets up and attempts to get my mother to sign this paperwork, while she was dialing the number to call me my roommate came home and she showed him the papers which turned out to be a credit application charging $597 to unclog sink, $170 fee and $65 travel charge wanting to charge $89 a month. My roommate called me and put me on speaker phone and I asked what it was so much for, at this point mike got offended and started yelling and ranting that it would not be covered under clog crusher special I then asked how he would know if he never looked at my sink and that set him off that he has to protect himself and he doesn’t know who’s home he’s entering etc. I then said if he couldn’t handle meeting strangers and handling his job in a professional manner he should find a different profession after saying this he stated he could handle his job and to give him his God damn money so he can get the hell out of there. He stated they take cash only and do not accept credit cards. I then stated I was going to call and speak with his manager because I didn’t appreciate someone coming into my home trying to scam my mother and disrespecting me and my roommates. I called and spoke with who I believe to be his supervisor Monique and told her the story as to what happened and she said she had to get his side of the story and would call back. 5 minutes later my roommate called back and said that he got off the phone with his supervisor and again was saying to give him his money, I waited 5 minutes in hopes that she would keep her word and call back which she didn’t so I had to call her. She stated he was still in the home so she couldn’t get his side of the story. I then stated that I didn’t believe I should have to pay him when he never even looked at the sink that was clogged and then yelled and cursed at my roommate and I with my mother present. She then stated she would call and tell him to leave my home and the fee would be waved. This was a horrible experience with a very disrespectful person. I don’t know about everyone else but I do not entertain people in my home who disrespect my family and I, and I definitely do not pay these people to do so.

Not deserving of even ONE star, Gillece installation was so bad bare wires directly under dehumidified shorted out $11,000 5 year old furnace. Lies about not being a York dealer because they are such bad products. Then attempts to sell me a cheap new furnace and air conditioner Which was also improperly installed for 9 thousand dollars. Later found out from there peers that they are one of the worst dealers in the area always in court. Told that my warranty was expired Found out from another dealer that my warranty was good till 2021 all he did was enter the serial number for York. As result of their poor craftsmanship water shorted out the whole furnace, then the con man wanted to sell me a warranted part and labor on a circuit board for a thousand dollars and would not guarantee any of the work. If you look at the cheap plastic fixture that caused all f this problem it was stripped out and with what looks like some type of adhesive then forced on the dehumidifier fixture till eventually it gave way and flooded the furnace with water. It was inspected less than 6 months where on of other technicians the same on who accompanied the con man sheister was working and reports to have inspected the furnace mysteriously began leaking. They also charged my wife for a warranted AC repair while under warranty, My wife ordered new filters for the furnace charged 159.00 for them and they never placed the order pocketing a cool 6000 from a warranty repair, called them never returned my call. Buyer beware of this organization they came over to my house with a conman named Steve who is disguised as a technician with the purpose of conning me out of an additional 9 thousand dollars . Buyer beware, Buyer beware, Buyer beware, Buyer beware, Buyer beware. Run from theses guys I am a retired sales man an have never seen such unethical behavior. Conman Steve drove off telling me he was going home to his nice warm house.

Our furnace fan stopped working which in turn stopped the AC from working. I called Gillece who despatched a Technician and a Field Rep. They checked the fan capacitor to find it needed replaced. However Gillece refused to change the capacitor or carry out the repair on the furnace fan. Instead they opened up the ducting to inspect the heat exchanger. They informed me that the heat exchanger was cracked and was a carbon monoxide risk. The Gillette technician disabled the wiring on the furnace so it could not be used. NO CARBON MONOXIDE tests were carried out by Gillece. The Gillette Field Rep then proceeded to give me a presentation on new furnace deals they were running and could be installed today. If purchased today it would cost $9,900. This is when I called Staab & Sons on a neighbors recommendation. A technician was despatched within the hour. The Staab technician confirmed the fan capacitor was not showing any power and needed replaced. The capacitor was changed which powered the furnace fan.. Both the fan and AC are now working fine with no issues. Staab inspected the heat exchanger and could not find any defects/cracks. As a precaution the Staab technician also carried out a number of carbon monoxide tests, all of which read ZERO. My total bill was $162 and the AC is now working in the house. We know our furnace is old and will need replacing for a more energy efficient furnace in the near future, however we did not want to be forced into purchasing a furnace immediately. For a reference Staab quoted a price 1/3 of the Gillette price. Thank you Staab and the Technician Rick for your honesty and excellent service. As for Gillece I will never use them again and advise anyone thinking about using their service to think twice, they are the most dishonest contractors I have come across.

Im sad you have to give the company 1 star, they dont deserve it. Call someone else. I contacted Gillece due to a clogged sewage line. Their representative came to my property used a camera in the line and told my wife and I that a traditional snake would not work and that they had to use a Hyrdojet which would clear the line unless the line was collapsed or broken and in that case we were looking at a major repair in the 10-20 thousand dollar range. The hydrojet was ordered at a price of 1900.00. The hydrojet came and attempted to clear the line to no avail. The next day a representative came back to the house, ran a camera and informed us that the sewer line was broken and we would have to dig and replace the line. This at 2-4 thousand dollars a day. Upon hearing this I called another plumbing company. They came to the house, used a traditional snake and the line was cleared in 1 hour for the cost of $165.00. The company (I am happy to provide the name) guaranteed the work for 2 months, assured us that the sewer line is not broken, it was just clogged. The new company also said that the hydrojet was the wrong application for our type of pipes. Upon doing some research online (home advisor) the cost nationally for hydrojetting is 300.00 with a highend of 600.00. I believe we were mislead throughout this entire process. First we were told that a traditional snake would not work. It did. We were told that the hydrojet would work, it did not. We were then told we needed a new sewer line. We do not. I also feel we were outrageously charged for the hydrojetting and it did not work. Honestly do yourself a favor and call someone else. I started asking other people if they have had a Gillece experience, and most Have! They are a known rip off company.
