I recently had some serious work done to my engine by Midas in Doylestown. These are the important facts about this experience: 1. The staff is friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, anticipatory and sometimes intuitive. 2. The work is not only solid, but instills confidence, especially when dealing with older cars such as mine. 3. They come up with imaginative ways to solve car problems, a characteristic that is essential for healing older cars. 4. They take the time to give detailed explanations of the work, the necessity for the work, the way in which it will be approached, the possible ramifications, etc. 5. They do everything possible to keep the price down, and I mean EVERYTHING. 6. The particular technician who worked on my car definitely has a gift with both technical know-how and diagnostic ability. It would be difficult to find a repair shop that can match both the experience and the results achieved here.

Absolutely terrible. Took my vehicle here for a State inspection. Spent well over $1,000 for the car to pass. Got the car back and it was running worse than it did before I spent over a grand. Never had any issues with the car before, always ran perfect and now it shakes and vibrates when completely stopped. During the inspection process they replaced a motor mount and when they were taking the motor out they obviously screwed something up under the hood. Took it back twice and they played stupid and of course insisted it was nothing they worked on the car for inspection. I am not stupid and I know the car ran great before they got their hands on it. No one else touched the car besides them. I will never take my car here again and I will strongly discourage everyone I know from taking their vehicles here as well. Please spend your hard earned money else where and not with these sad excuses for mechanics.

A perfect example of a shop that will do anything to charge you for things. I took my car in for an inspection and it failed- they recommended $1300 worth of work (which, btw, I was able to do myself for $200 in parts). Most of the work wasnt even necessary to pass the inspection- just typical upkeep (sorry guys- a "tune-up" shouldnt be $1000+). I brought it back to be reinspected, and SURPRISE- they were angry that I didnt pay for their outrageously priced repairs, and they magically found new things to fail the car on (the same things had passed just a week earlier)- they even broke a part on my car and then tried to charge me $200 to fix it. Dont go to these guys, they will do anything to rip you off!

Horrible experience, should not go there. Try to rip-off innocent customers. I went for state inspection and they recommended $500 worth of repairs. This bulb and that bulb, crack on side parking reflector. They even took out some bolts from engine mounting. Do not know what else they took out. Exhaust pipe leak that was fixed few months ago by some other Midas. They charged $1000 to fix it. Showed me and that can be fixed by replacing a single bolt but he refused to do. Most important he said " YOU ARE WRONG " 3 times by pointing to my face. This is Midas Customer Care. Pease please please save urself and do not go there. Only one nice thing when he asked to sign on payment receipt.

Saw my expensive foreign car and took advantage. Needed "special oil from dealership". They also couldnt put air in my tires because the Midas in West Chester didnt use the proper tire valve cap key on my previous visit and striped the valve stems. On top of that, they didnt fill my fluids as directly requested in writing, which is nice to find out when youre 100 miles into your 600 mile drive home and the warning lights flash on the dashboard. $130 for an oil change in the end. You get what you pay for with Midas, I suppose, although I wouldnt even say that with this experience.

Look no further! This Midas location is the best youll ever go to. Both the owner and the mechanics are friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to your car. Ive taken my problematic BMW to them for years and the problem is already resolved quickly and professionally. I can personally recommend Sean for his extensive work on my vehicle and I cant say that for any other mechanic Ive ever dealt with. Keep up the good work fellas!

I came here to to get my car inspected and I had a few problems with my car but was low on money. They helped me out and I was able to pay for everything to get fixed. I highly recommend coming here if you have any car problems. They will work with you and help out in any way they can

First time customer. Wasnt happy with my old mechanics. The Midas guys were knowledgeable and took the time to show me what needed to be repaired. Having an older car with over 150K miles, I need to make sure i can keep it on the road a while longer. I will be recommending them to others.

Great Experience. Loved the attitude here of eager to please service. Educated me on my options, no pressure, and amazingly quick turn around time ... at a better quoted price than another local provider that I had been using.

Beware. Wanted to charge $800 to fix a couple of "failed" items. Took to another automotive facility and it passed inspection with no problem.

John Tangye, one of the service advisors was very friendly and helpful when I needed a quick computer scan due to a check engine light.
