I bought a car from Outten Kia two years ago. I was 22 and swimming in a bit of student loan debt. I visited Outten Kia and met with a salesman (whose name I since forget). After a bit of work, they told me the only thing they could go for me was get me an 18.65% interest rate. They made me feel terrible about my credit and all the debt that I had. They actually watched me cry at their desk when they told me how expensive my loan would be per month. But I had just gotten a job and needed a car and had no other choice. I didnt realize until now, speaking with other car dealerships and salesmen, how incredibly screwed I got and the power that the salesmen have over the interest rate. I should sue them. Disgusting practice taking advantage of someone with little car buying experience. I hope this dealership goes bankrupt. I actually hate the salesman there (once I remember his name I will post) for taking such advantage of my situation. I hope they lose all business and I hope they read this and know how bad of a situation its been for me over the past four years because of it. I just traded that car in at Allentown Kia for a brand new car with a 4.4% interest rate. DO NOT GO HERE.

Great experience with Outtan Sales and Service..thought Id share a little about my KIA As Dave will attest I was not initially a fan of the Souls body style, but after seeing the color (love that alien green) and the price, along with the roomy interior I was soon sold..after driving it for 3 months I can say I am even happier than when I made my purchase. I like its handling and gas mileage (I am easily saving 25-30 a week over my Envoy). It was a great transition car for me from my SUV. It offers a roomy interior, the seats "sit higher" than a car and with the back seats ability to lay down..it has proven its versatility..from loading two boxed chairs for my neighbor, providing us with a great yard saling vehicle, and loading for a weekend of camping..it has really met all my needs so far. Let me also add the great warranty (10 yrs) , free inspection deal, and helpful Outtan staff..its a winner all around

Pete sold me a 2012 Sedona in 2011 since I had to move my musician daughter to Baton Rouge. I couldnt see how wed transport her instrument, computer, etc. in a U-Haul! Pete was great, as I knew hed be. After all, we had patronized Schlenker Motors since 1980. The van was also great--I didnt need brakes at all in the three years I owned it, and Id put 56K miles on it. I loved that I could remove two seats and fold two more down. This fall I decided I wanted a car, so, of course, I turned to Pete. When I’d told him I wanted a Fusion, he not only found me a wonderful pre-owned one with only 9K miles, he handled my purchase efficiently, in a friendly manner, and gave me a great trade-in price. I recommend Pete Schlenker to anyone looking for a personalized experience in car shopping.

Im very torn about my review of this dealership. The sales department is very very friendly and is willing to work with you. My family has leased from here twice and my grandparent has bought from here and none of us have had a negative experience from sales. It doesnt hurt that their prices are usually much less than their main competitors at Savage Kia. The service department on the other hand is rude at best and swindlers at worst. The people at the service desk are routinely rude and condescending, and have tried to sell me unneeded parts multiple times. The sales staff will bend over backwards for you, and Id give them 5 stars. The service department might earn two on a good day.

Pleasant, courteous and got me an appointment as early as they could fit me in. I have a check engine light that needs to be fixed before inspection. I dont know what it will cost me till its finished. Thats when the proof will be in the pudding. Oh though, they did very good with my husbands Chevy he bought there years ago. Extremely good! ☺

I have had my Kia Forte, who I named Callie since 2011. The service staff at Outten are all helpful and polite and the work they do is always excellent. They even give my car a little wash after theyre done! They are also a fair place when it comes to buying a car. I recommend if you need a car, see Tom Smith the one salesman!
