Arrived at 6pm. Place was packed so went to the bar to grab drinks while my wife and I waited. Seated by 6:10. Placed our appetizer order by 6:20. Appetizer came out at 6:25 and placed entre order by 6:30. Appetizers were good and drinks were great. Now the fun began. 6:45 came and went and no food. Waitress told us they were busy so wasnt worried. 7pm came and went and now tables seated after us were finishing their entrees and still no food. Waitress came by and implied there was a mix up but our food would be right out. 7:15 we get our entrees which are both filet. Problem is I didnt order the filet and my wifes was well done instead of medium. Mentioned the mix up about mine being the wrong meal and didnt even get into the steak being overcooked to the manager and mentioned that we had an event to make at 8 so if it would take any real time for the meal to come out I would just eat the steak. She stated it would be right out. My wife choked down her over cooked steak after throwing salt on it for some flavor and finally at 7:25 my meal came out. It was very bland and as a whole very disappointing not to mention inhaling the food so we could leave. It also came with the manager for all intents and purposes throwing the waitress under the bus with stating "she screwed this up". Asked for the check and was cashed out and at the door by 7:33. Still left a $5 dollar tip as the appetizers and drinks were great. Overall the situation itself was handled very poorly and very disappointed with the experience.

Dont let the great prices fool you. This is top notch, 5 star grub! I had the filet with blue cheese crumbles and demi-glaze reduction. It was a solid 8oz. The quality of the cut was up there with all the big name steak houses and it was cooked impeccably, crunchy sear on the outside and perfect temperature on the inside. It truly blew me away. The roasted carrots and potatoes were amazing too, but you arent reading this for the veggies... My wife had the short ribs. She only let me have one bite, but I dont blame her. Again, a solid portion, but the flavor and tenderness were out of this world. Quite possibly in the top 3 short ribs I have ever had. I would be remiss if I didnt mention the hand breaded chicken tenders my kids had. Not only was the chicken absolutely delicious, but the home made honey mustard sauce was amazing too. Lastly, my mother-in-law had the gluten free raviolis. I didnt try them, but those suckers were gone before I even got a good look at them. This place has become a permanent stop when we pass through PA from here on out!

My husband and I had dinner last night at Sagra. We had high hopes but were disappointed with the service, which was slow and inattentive, and the food was overpriced and subpar. We enjoyed the scallop appetizer, with the bacon being the best part, but it could have been a bit bigger. The "famous" foccacia bread came out burnt and bland. My husband ordered the filet mignon and we believe that it was either not a filet, or the cheapest filet every produced. Ive had less chewy $5 sirloins at Ponderosa. What a rip off for $25. I had the filet tips in a gorgonzola cream sauce. Again, the meat was chewy and did not seem to be filet, and the sauce, while tasty, did not taste of gorgonzola. It was just a cream sauce. My husband left so hungry that we had to get another dinner down the block at Braveheart, which is where we should have gone to start. Excellent Oktoberfest specials at Braveheart by the way.

We came to Sagra for a birthday celebration last week. The service was great and food well-prepared. We were sorry we could not reserve a table for our party of three, and luckily we were able to begin the meal with drinks at the bar-adjacent high-top tables before moving to a regular table. There is a second story dining room which I did not see. This was my second or third visit. The time prior was for one of their weeknight steak specials, which encouraged me to suggest it for the birthday dinner. It was a great choice.

We had my parents 50th anniversary party there recently and it was a wonderful experience! The food was out of this world, and everyone who came raved about it! The cheese torte appetizer, caramel apple pie dessert, flounder and Napa chicken were winners with our guests! Our waiter Sam went out of his way to make sure everyone had what they wanted and we cant say enough about this restaurant. We will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends! Thank you!!

Clams, exactly as priced. Got what we paid for, should have known. Steak, overcooked and flavorless. We go to a new place every week and sometimes twice. This is my least favorite in 6 miles of hellertown. Same tab at bar louie, casa toro, torre, bellas, yannis, etc. Vassis, and the new gyro place is 1/3 the cost and better. Hate writing a bad review thus the three stars. Couldnt pay me to go again. YOU DID NOT PUT SHULAS OUT OF BUSINESS.

Working in the area and looking for something new. Stopped in on a Friday nite hungry and tired. Well let me tell you from start to finish everything was perfect. The food was great, the service was great, and the price was great, thats the trifecta! I sat at the bar and Mickey was tending, and she was great, so I guess thats the quadfecta. If you are in the area do yourself a favor and stop here!

Start on a positive note....the entrees were very good! Had the ribs with mac-n-cheese as well as the $15 filets. Very good. However EVERYTHING else was very disappointing. Appetizers bland, water strong flavor of chlorine and undrinkable, sangria watery, said there was AC but was sweating the entire dinner. $15 filet not enough to make a second trip.

They were severely understaffed. It took well over an hour to get our meal. Once the food did come out it was poorly prepared. Although Ive eaten here in the past this was definitely my worst visit and my last. On the flip side of the coin the staff was courteous and did her best to apologize. I do not blame the waitresses for our experience.

I live a mile from sagra but have never stopped in. Finally did today. Cant believe what Ive been missing. I only got a single drink from the bar and a burger to go but regardless, I felt the need to mention my experience. Love the quaint welcoming feeling. Cant wait to come back and try more items on the menu!

We were invited here by friends of ours. We have been back twice since and recommended this place to others. The restaurant is nice, the service is great, the food is terrific. Everything (except the crackers with the cheese torte) that we have ordered has been delicious. Love the coffee

I have been to just about every restaurant in the Lehigh Valley, however this is my favorite. The scallops were to die for. Also, the cheese torte was unbelievable! If you have room left, try the Coconut cake... YUM. Very nice atmosphere, staff was wonderful. This place is a MUST try!

I have been to Sagra many times, and it is excellent! Lovely, quaint, casual atmosphere, great staff, great service, and great food! A definite must try over and over as the menu changes often, you never know what you might find on any given night!
