This review is for Cindy at the Benefit Brow Bar: I have had my brows shaped, waxed and filled in at several other Benefit Brow Bars before. 99% of the time I just sat and they knew exactly what to do with no explanation needed. That was not my experience with Cindy in Ulta at the Waterfront as it was the absolute worst! She claims she has umpteen years of experience doing brows, however was absolutely clueless when it came to my brows. I only needed a touch up as the shape was already there, however she wanted to give me a completely different shape! I asked her to show me what she would be doing to me before she removed any hair so that I would feel confident she knew what she was doing and... Nope, DISASTER!!! I left with one thick brow and one thin brow and she actually did not see any problem with this. Needless to say, I will never return and she should be BANNED from ever touching wax again until she can get some much needed training. I watched her do three appointments before me and I sort of knew then that her style was out dated and cookie cutter. You cant give everyone the same brow shape. Complete utter waste of time.

I would give a zero if I could. I purchased $100+ dollars worth of products. The package was never delivered to me. Because the shipment company "said" it was successfully delivered, ULTA would not refund or re-send me the items. It basically became my word over the carriers. I know for a fact that it wasnt stolen because I received two other packages on the same day the ULTA package was allegedly delivered, one of which was from the same carrier! Their customer service was unhelpful, leaving it to me to investigate the incident on my own, calling and making claims with the two carriers ULTA used. I never had any issues with receiving packages at my current resident. Had this been Sephora or Amazon, the items would of been resent to me or I would of been completely refunded. It is completely unfair that the customer has to pay for an error made by carriers ULTA supposedly trusts. My word is meaningless in ULTAs eyes. Unbelievably awful experience. Will never shop there again.

I had an absolutely horrible experience! I had some money to spend after the holidays so I went to get an Urban Decay foundation (over 40 dollars). As soon as I walked in I was followed around, which made me uncomfortable. I shrugged it off until the employee walked up to me and greeted me without making contact, at first I didnt even think she was talking to me. She repeated herself very loudly and in a tone that made me feel like I did something to offend her. She then looked me up and down, in a manner for me to witness, and walked away. I honestly felt like a criminal. I understand being cautious of theft but treating any customer that walks in the door like they are going to commit a crime is no way to run a business. Dont be expecting my business anytime soon.

Ulta is an okay store in general but the Ulta at the Waterfront is pathetic. Many items are out of stock, the perfume selection is primarily made up of celebrity fragrances and the salespeople may as well not exist. As for the salon, I cant comment on the quality of the cuts or color. I made an appointment (with Karen), arrived 5 minutes early and she was half way through cutting another clients hair. I was invited to wander around the store while waiting to be seen. 30 minutes later (25 minutes after my appointment) the stylist was putting foils into her clients hair. Needless to say, I walked out.

Ulta has pretty much every nail polish color and brand imaginable, they have a high selection of makeup products too. However, the service is absolutely terrible. I usually dont mind bad service if a place has good products. However, the salespeople have TERRIBLE attitudes. Many of the women literally grimace when you walk into the store. They dont like to help people find products and act as if helping you, or even ringing you up is a huge inconvenience. I will not be giving them any future business. I leave feeling worse about myself when I leave.

Love the salon - great staff. some sales associates are great - others are a little less than great. I have seen some catty behavior on the floor first hand but thankfully not everyone is like that there. Every interaction with the hairdressers have been very positive and they are clearly talented. I also wanted to give a special shoutout the the skincare spa person - she did an amazing job.

I always receive excellent service at this Ulta. Sales associates go out of their way to help me find just the right product or they introduce me to a new one. They are very friendly the minute I walk in the door. And they come up with a coupon when I forget mine. I also think that they have terrific stylists in the salon. Their check-out is also efficient.
