While I agree that the salon was clean, that is not a lasting concern as I wasted a ton of money for hair color a monkey could have done. I had two services; first I paid for a 90 minute facial which was a horrible experience. They sell this location as a spa but putting a side room across from washing machines to do facials in does not make you a spa. I was extremely let down by the fact that I could never relax due to the hair smells and the music in the salon area. My face was left blotchy and I was left with buyer’s remorse. The afternoon only got worse, I was to receive a double process color service which usually would have taken about 2 hours- this took FOUR HOURS! I could not believe it. I was hoping that the extra time meant that she was doing extra good work, I was wrong. The girl pulled my hair (I actually had to ask her to stop a couple of times) and made it a miserable experience. Usually in a salon where you spend a lot of money to have your hair done you would receive a nice head/scalp massage but instead she sat and combed my hair jerking each tiny knot left from coloring. I just wanted her to leave me alone. Finally when everything was finished I was so upset to see that my hair color looked grey- yes, I said grey. I complained as soon as I saw this but felt so defeated by the day that I left. However, when I went home I looked at my receipt and realized that they charged me for a haircut and I didn’t even get one! I called the store this morning and left a message with the front desk and was told the manager would return my call but not to my surprise I have not received a call. I am a genuinely happy person that was excited to try a new place and a new hair style that is now left with an empty wallet and bad hair. I have never left a review but I have read them. I wanted to warn any of you planning to schedule an appointment- DON’T DO IT. There are other Aveda salons that you can get the same products but with a higher quality of service and style. I personally know of a great one in Burlington. My biggest mistake was not just driving the few extra miles and sticking to what I know is great. UPDATE>>>> As an update, the manager of Jade called me back and invited me in to have my services redone plus refunded my money for the service I never received. Jonny (the manager) was very nice and made me feel welcome. Upon arriving Jonny and the new colorist examined my hair and also validated that it was not a true blond and was very ashy to a point of grayish. They set up a color appointment for me the next evening I was available. The first service redone was a spa service. Although Chelsea was very, very nice I am still not sure that this is a great place to come for a relaxing spa experience- it just doesn’t have that same feel as many of the other spas in the same area. However, after Brittany redid my hair I have received so many complements. I am very happy with the color and feel of my hair. I still haven’t decided whether I will return but if I do I know three things….1. I will never have my hair done by an “academy student”, saving the money was not worth it. 2. I will not plan a spa service. 3. I would definitely have Brittany do the color (although I did hear through the grapevine that Trish is good too and she gave me a great haircut so I believe it).

Just moved to the area and was looking for a nice nail salon to get a pedi. Choose to come here for one its located in the beautiful Friendly Center with tons of shopping. And I never got to see one of the Aveda salon and spas before. My toes look great and you get to bring home a mini nail polish bottle as well. Stewart did a great job getting my feet sandal ready. Coming here was a real treat and I am looking forward to my next trip.

I love everything about Jade Aveda. Great stylists and other associates. Everyone is happy, helpful, and friendly. I know several folks there, and not just Katie, my stylist. I am always greeted promptly and cordially, and it isnt just the "welcome" drone that some stores make their associates bleat out by rote. I have been having my hair and nails done here for about two years, and every experience has been pleasant. Great team!

What a rude salon! I called to get a childs hair cut prior to my transgender sons first day of kindergarten and they wouldnt reserve a cut for me because I havent been there to have my hair cut. Only mothers with perfect Aveda coifs can come here! Of course unless you are a retail guest — which I offered to purchase something — but you cant do that the same day you book your appointment. What kind of policy is this?

I just moved to the area from NYC and have curly hair. I was afraid to try somewhere new, so I didnt cut my hair for 6 months. Finally I decided to go see Mark at Jade Aveda last week and he gave me the best hair cut I have had in years. It looks amazing straight and curly. People have been giving me compliments, so I am sending people his way. The salon is lovely and the staff helpful.

Great haircut every time I go. Ive been to many hair stylists before and they often eventually get stale for me or their cuts vary too much from visit to visit. My stylist at aveda is precise and always asks if I want to have something different done and then accommodates me.

I was visiting family in Burlington and needed to tidy up a bit... clean up my post-college scruff... and the girls at Jade were more than glad to help. The salon itself was very impressive and immaculately clean. Thanks yall, see you around the holidays

I just walked in today to make an appointment. To my surprise Katie had time to cut my hair. She was very easy going and helpful. I was very happy with the outcome and feeling like a different person leaving. Everybody was helpful. I will go back.

Took my wife here to get her hair done before a big event. Her stylist was inexperienced and instead of offering some style ideas, basically just asked my wife "what do you want me to do?". Would NOT go back.

They dont answer their phone! And if you decide to press 1 to leave a message, they state the inbox is ONLY checked once per day , in the morning! Just lost my money and any prospect of return. SMH!!

I have been coming to Jade Aveda for over a year and LOVE it. The staff is friendly and professional. My favorite stylist Mark is amazing. Great, clean, professional salon. I highly recommend them.

Great service. Great products. Great experience. Going to Jade is like having a mini-vacation. Im a guy and not shy about going there for a nice haircut and mini-facial treatment. Very relaxing.

GREAT salon! The stylists are friendly and skilled. Amanda is super friendly and listens to what you want. The salon is very nice & clean with a great atmosphere.
