On my 12 week olds second day, I dropped her off a little later in the morning, the room was filthier than it was her first day, there were huge puddles of water on the floor from the fridge defrosting overnight (note: my daughter drinks breast milk that is stored in this fridge and no one felt the need to mention this to me). When I opened the fridge, it was dirty and wet and still had food in it. Her 2nd day (unlike day 1), they did write down on their log what time she ate last and woke up at home so I felt slightly better than I had the morning prior. When we picked her up, she was outside in almost 90 degree weather. She was bright red and lethargic, not herself. The refrigerator still wasnt cold, only a few oz of breast milk were gone and only two dirty bottles (she was at daycare for over 9 hours and I had sent six clean bottles), her bottles were scattered all around the room and on the floor, her formula was open, her things were haphazardly thrown all around the room, the changing table was absolutely filthy, and still no crib. The teacher couldnt tell me anything about her feeding or diaper schedule as she "meant to" fill out the forms they have but forgot. She first told us our daughter didnt cry for/want food all morning, but when I said she should have eaten by 9:30 suddenly she said she did eat then. Then she told us she had just given her a bottle right before we arrived. She informed us (in a hushed tone) that the hand/foot/mouth virus was going around, but that she wasnt allowed to tell us any specifics. I asked if our daughter was in direct contact with any kids who had it, she kept insisting she couldnt tell me anything. Finally, she told us it was a kid in her classroom. Im confused as to why the site manager wouldnt be sending out a notice of some kind and why the room hasnt been cleaned if this was the case. Also, the teacher repeatedly coughed in her hands and wiped her nose without washing her hands or using sanitizer. I called my pediatrician when we left to find out what I should be looking for in regards to the virus since my daughter is so young and the first thing they asked was how many diapers she had wet/how much she had eaten that day because their first concern is dehydration with the virus. When I told them I didnt know and why - they were appalled. Note that my daughter had previously been hospitalized for issues with dehydration, which I had told to both her am/pm teachers and to Cristina her first day. Management has agreed to refund us for the rest of the week since she wont be attending and we wont be responsible for any further tuition, but I feel this is something parents should be aware of before sending their child (Especially an infant) to their facility.

BIG waste of time and money! The management for Todays Child is unprofessional! Ms. Alicea, Ms. Kim, & Ms. Belinda are the ONLY reason I have dealt with this center for so long. These particular employees have gone above and beyond for my youngest son who is autistic. Everyone else could care less with what happens around them especially upper management like Cristine and site manager Jennifer. Ive had several issues with certain teachers with how they speak to the children and even a concern at one point of one of their teachers smacking my child on his arm and when these issues were brought up...NOTHING was done! No incident report, no meeting with the teacher, NOTHING! I called corporate and waited MONTHS for the site manager Jennifer to call me back. I found it funny how the director Cristine would contact me to let me know corporate called her but they never had the time to call me...hmm seems kind of odd that corporate would give the director a "heads up" about a parent calling but doesnt have the decency to contact the parent back who has concerns to find out whats going on. Its all a big joke if you ask me. I would overhear other parents talking about the inappropriate behavior from staff in the halls and I never paid it any mind but now I regret not raising a concern at the time. Dont waste you or your childrens time or your money on Todays Child. Youll only be let down and disappointed.

Both of my children have attended Todays Child for many years. If I ever had an issue it was resolved, and in a timely manner. Ive notice more recently that there have been a lot of changes and I hope for the better. The teachers are familiar with my children and my children are comfortable with them. I see a parent posted something about a teacher speaking to kids inappropriately, and while I dont condone it, I rather a teacher use her voice then her hands( not saying Ive ever witnessed this there). The company has always worked with me when it came to accommodating my oldest son whos diagnosed with Autism, and up until this year hes been there. I believe for the past 4 plus years, busing has always been available and convenient. During the summer theyve also taken my oldest even though her was older then the other children and also made him feel comfortable with just being him. I think the place is great and sadden that they dont transport to by babys new school, but glad to know I can always use them as a resource. From Clifton Heights location to Lansdowne, I think is a good place for children.

My daughter started here in January and I have nothing but good things to say. She will be a year old in September so she has been in the infant room most of the time she has been here. But every teacher in that facility knows who she is and interacts with her daily. The entire staff and upper management have been nothing but kind and helpful. My daughter always has a smile on her face when we get there, wants to go to every teacher, and is tired and happy when she gets picked up. I am glad that I chose this facility to watch my child while I am at work.

My 3 children have attended this facility for daycare and pre-k. I have been using this school for all of my childcare services for the past 3 years. The facility is clean and conveniently located on Lansdowne ave. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and consistent.
