Ive been going there for a year or so. My experience has been rather inconsistent; some stylists are great, and others kind of ignore direction and take some liberties with what they give, but it was never so bad that I felt compelled to stop going there since its nearby and cheap. Well, it stopped being cheap. I went in asking for four inches off my hair. No style. Nothing fancy. Just cut off four inches. The stylist informs me that Ill be charged $31—which is over $10 more than what my last visit was—because my hair goes past my shoulders because they now charge by length. The woman in the chair besides me is getting a multi-layed bob, and shes going to pay the standard price. Im getting the most basic thing I could ask for, and Im paying significantly more because I have long hair. What? That is such an asinine change and feels incredibly exploitative, considering its not as if theyre charging more for more work.

I took my 1.5 year old son to get his hair cut. He does not usually do well with haircuts, but this time he was on his best behavior. He sat in my lap and sat fairly still. The girl that cut his hair was not friendly towards him at all. She ended up cutting her finger on her scissors while he was sitting very still and left us sitting in the chair for 10 minutes (understandable). When she returned, she waved her wrapped finger at me and said "You need to hold him down and keep him still." My son has been getting his hair cut at least once a month since he was 11 months old...and we have never had this issue. I tipped her well and went on with my day, but I would rather have Helen Keller cut my sons hair than to go back to this place again.

I would like to say I like my hair cut but the lady who cut my hair did not ask if I wanted my hair layered. I have medium thickness for my hair so when my hair gets layered it get more thick. It is not a bad hair cut it is more that there was no communication about if I would like my hair to have layers to it.

Ive been getting my hair cut here for some time. Some stylists are better than others but Ive never gotten a bad haircut. The place is convenient and you dont need an appointment. If your lucky to get Tiffany as your stylist you will be pleased as she is very good.

Took my daughter for a trim. The woman who did it should definitely NOT work with children!! Also I called to get a price for a childs haircut and was told $12 but was charged $14. We will not be returning and will make sure to tell friends.

I get my hair cut here when Im in a pinch. Then my girlfriend has to re-do it because the sideburns are crooked and there are stays hairs that need clippers again. Its really hit or miss depending on who you get.

Th Salon that used to be in the Hawthorne Center on Fruitville Pike was leagues better than this location! Just saying.
