Sadly, they dont have a great varíety of professionals to work with different hair textures. I was looking for someone to do highlites on my latin hair, and this person did an average job, nothing especial, so then i brough my daughter for an ombre and she did a tacky job and then she blame it on the hair texture, it was bad!!!. She actually said, that she wasnt sure of the results because d hair (latin) texture, she was always unsure of everything. Ignorant!!! So i got tired to heard how she was unsure of everything. Last time I check a hair professional knows how to work all kind of hair textures. Anyways, Happy that I moved on to a professional place, who hair professionals are very confidence in all kind of hair, they sounds off gracefully. Especially Courtney in THE FRINGE, NORFOLK DOWNTOWN, I have done a balaye, a hair cut and the hairstyle was beautifully done with not problem or complaints. Of course on my wonderful latín texture. THE FRINGE in Norfolk, so happy with the results all the time.

This place is the best in Chesapeake by far!! Heather did an amazing job on my color. I was coloring my own hair, and getting less than amazing results. With one look, Heather was able to suggest the right color treatment for my hair type, and delivered some amazing results. I’m no stranger to the hair salons in the Chesapeake area, I’ve pretty much been to them all, but I will only go to HiLites from this day forward. If you want quality results this is the only place to go in Chesapeake! They know what they are doing! The review about the hair color washing out, that girl is wrong. She probably didnt use the right color care porducts to maintain her color, which is not the salons fault. I dont usually write reviews, but this place is worth it!!!!!

I just want to say THANK YOU to Brooke and Destinee and Mandie for their help with my hair and all my wedding styles! All of my bridesmaids styles and makeup were absolutely amazing!!! The color and hilights and extensions done for my wedding were stunning and the makeup was something I cant even describe! I just want everyone to know how friendly and absolutely wonderful these girls are! You made my wedding perfect and I cant say thank you enough! My first time being there was for my trials and I WILL be coming back! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Waste of Money - $130 for a cut and color that lasted 2 weeks. I did not ask for nonpermanent hair color but the stylist said by putting my head under the dryer for 20 minutes, the color would become permanent... well its been almost 3 weeks and the color is completely gone. The cut itself was good but this was a rip-off if you ask me. I will never go back to Hi Lites - waste of money.

I have been seeing Destinee at Hilites Salon for around 5 years now and I love her! Whenever she styles my hair, I am always in love with it. The rest of the stylists and staff at Hilites are always polite and professional. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a stylist to visit them.

I like this place. They sure can cut and style a dudes hair. I visit at least twice a month. Tiffany at the front desk is amazing and the stylist Stephanie is wonderful at her job. Friendly staff. Must go here!!
