Amazing - I absolutely love Miranda and the whole staff at this location! Let me first start off by saying that I have gone to Rudy & Kelly for a long time- started out at the one on Fordham Drive in Virginia Beach until they closed, then over to Mt Pleasant a few times, then I found this wonderful salon and turns out, it was SO close to me and I never knew it. Im glad I know now! From the phone call to set up my appointment to the cleanliness of the salon, and friendliness of the staff, this location has it ALL! Now... let me talk about Miranda! :) Miranda is wonderful. I purposely asked to have Miranda do my hair when I was calling for the appointment because of her wonderful reviews and how great she is with all hair types, especially curly hair because she has it herself so she just gets it! Miranda is so friendly and personable. I showed her pictures of what I was hoping to achieve and she knew exactly what I wanted and asked just enough questions to make sure we were on the same page. From there, she worked her magic and educated me along the way and the end result was gorgeous! Exactly what I was hoping for :) I will be coming back to this salon a lot more and seeing Miranda every chance I get. Thank you SO much Miranda!!! You are an amazing stylist! Thank you for taking your time with me and educating me about the best types of shampoos and conditioners for my hair and giving me tips on my upcoming Hawaii visit. Your kindness is SO appreciated. After reading the two reviews for the Greenbrier Salon I had to put my two cents in. I have been going to this salon for the past ten years. I have never had a bad haircut. I have never had a bad job with highlights. My stylist, Crystal Phelps, is excellent. She is the ultimate professional. She always makes me feel pampered and special from the moment she greets me until the moment I leave the salon, feeling like a movie star. I am not the worlds most beautiful woman, but when I leave Rudy and Kelly, I feel beautiful. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair over the past years and I always give Crystal the credit. I dont know what happened to those two poor folks who wrote those bad reviews, but I can tell you that they must be the exception and not the rule because I have sent dozens of people to Rudy and Kelly and have not had one single person complain about the service they got. In my opinion this is the top salon in the area, so dont be afraid to go there and give them a try. I will vouch for them anytime, and I am one smart cookie!

I was visiting some friends in the Virginia Beach area, and they recommended this salon. I was very pleased with every aspect of my visit. The owner, Christine, performed a complete makeover for a special occasion of mine, complete with hair cut, color, and makeup. I had never had my hair colored before, and was very cautious about it, however Christine made me feel completely comfortable because she was so personable. She did a great job of encouraging me to try something new, while still staying within the boundaries of the hair style I was comfortable with. The cut and color looked great, however, her talent as a makeup artist impressed me the most. She was able to envision a look I wanted and was very detail oriented, experimenting with several different brushes and colors of makeup until it was exactly what I wanted. Christine is a true artist and is an example of someone who strives to meet her customers wishes until they leave completely satisfied. I highly recommend Rudy and Kelly Hair Salon for your next night out!

Im going to start off with saying I had the most amazing experience here. I have had bad experiences in the past. So I walked into Rudy and Kelly and I was nervous and scared and told the lady at the counter what I wanted and she said she was gonna let Miranda do my hair. I said ok. Well then Miranda came out very professional and friendly. And I explained to her about my past experiences and she said dont worry I got you. Well guess what Miranda did her thing. And explained to me what she was doing and showed me how to style my hair. I have found me my hair stylist she is amazing and I highly recommend her.... I even scheduled my color appointment with her as well. I am extremely happy. Thank you Miranda. ..

The best. I recommend this salon and Melinda to everyone who compliments my hair, and thats a few times every month, the last time on the same day I had my regular appointment. I said, "I have a hair appointment," and she said, "I was going to tell you how good it looked!" Appointments are on time, and they actually call you if you ask to be on a cancellation list for a specific date that is full. Stylists are not all paid the same. The Master Stylists command higher fees, but the results are great. They sell excellent products, but dont force them on you. Occasionally, they have sales of certain products. Love this place! Located near Penneys on the first floor.

I have been going to this salon for over 2 years. Ive had a few stylists over the years and now I am a regular client to stylist Shay Large (yes, thats her real last name.. I asked). The staff there is friendly. My stylist Shay is awesome and always does a great job. She goes above and beyond to satisfy me. One day I was running really late, and I was her last client of the day, and she waited around til I got there because she new I REALLY needed to get the haircut for plans I had made. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new hair salon to call home.

Well to start....my stylist was swearing and talking about how her boyfriend and her are harassed my the police...this has to be the most unprofessional conversation to have with a new client. My haircut was the worst. I have a huge chunk of hair missing in the back of my head that I refuse to wear my hair down. I had to get my hair cut the following week. I will never go to this salon again and I hope that they get it together before anyone goes there.

Had highlights done. The bottom of my hair was bleach blonde the top was brown. I shouldnt have gone back to do my roots. My top three inches of hair so much lighter and spotted. I spoke to the owner would redid it. Still two toned And spotted. Never will step foot in this place again.

Absolutely amazing! Friendly staff, and these gals know what theyre doing! Came in to shape up a pixie cut, showed the stylist a few pictures, answered a few questions, and she worked her magic! I couldnt be happier with my experience.
