When I enter STUDIO CL, it is like walking into an art gallery. True artist @ work making you look & feel like a masterpiece. One of the many many things that I enjoy is that they are truly a team, led by the master Artur Kirsh. Artur has taught the best in the city from Alexey Kats who was the first person to every cut my hair dry to Tonia Day who on a regular basis is the stylist for many of our local news reporters. Someone introduced me to Artur a few years ago and I have been going every week since. If my first request is not available I am just as happy with my 2nd or 3nd. They are all interesting talented artists, and with the new renovations STUDIO CL truly belongs in New York or Los Angeles that is what we have in our own backyard. I cant leave with out mentioning price point. RIGHT ON. I felt it was time to join in because the STUDIO has recently become a gallery with the renovations and because I have experienced so many of the talented stylist. You should check it out, If you count up all the times Ive been there and all the places Ive been to, dont think you will be disappointed. Donna D (See you tomorrow)

The way I met Alexey was pure luck, better yet “faith”. It was about 8 years ago and at that time I had no idea there was this cute part of Philly called Manayunk. I ended up there because of a small job and Alexey happened to be doing the hair that night. He put blond straight extensions on me and I loved it. At that time I had brown hair. I was trying different salons all the time and I was struggling with different haircuts, being unhappy and frustrated with all of them. So next time I was ready for a cut I figured I would try him. When it comes to hair, that was the best day of my life . Ever since then I have been hooked. I live about 80 miles away from Philly and I do not mind driving to Philly for a haircut because it is worth it. When Alexey changed salons, so did I! Here and there I did get lazy, and every single time I paid for it. I have learned my lesson – as far as I am concerned there is only one hairstylist for me! Alexey does an excellent job and I completely trust him. Every time I go there, it feels like I am visiting family. Everyone in the salon is super nice and professional but it also feels like home.

I came to Alexey 4 years ago, via a friend of a friend whom I met at a party. Her hair looked so fabulous and healthy I had to ask her who she went to for her hair. When I had my first appointment with Alexey I was extremely nervous because a few months prior I had a horrendous experience at a popular salon in Cherry Hill, NJ. I had gone back to my natural brunette color for a year or two and wanted to go back blonde. The stylist at this salon in NJ RUINED my hair. Half of highlights turned orange and he told me it was the lighting when I pointed out the discoloration. I had to strip my hair which left my hair in very bad shape. Alexey not only took me blonde (all of you blonde out there know there are so many shades and tones of blonde and Alexey always hit dead on what I asked for), but I have had the best hair cuts since I started going to him. I admit I am obsessed with my hair which can probably get annoying, but Alexey is so great and really answers all of my questions and give me the best tips! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great stylist!

I had my hair recently done by Pawel, the new stylist from Michigan. I have never received a more precise, well-executed haircut. Pawel specializes in dry cutting and explained the differences and benefits. The haircut was stylish, clean, precise and just beautiful. He took his time and I couldnt be happier. Hes also seems extremely well educated in terms of his hair knowledge/experience. When I mentioned this to him, he told me he headed the education program at his salon in MI and Im not at all surprised. He had great ideas and he knew what I was shooting for. Pawel also gave me hi and lo lights which were even better than the haircut! Im blonde and I like natural contrast and Pawel is seriously the best. The prices are reasonable, the location is ideal and coming from someone who has tried countless salons and stylists in the city, Studio Cl and Pawel are my favs. Hope this is helpful.

This review is directly for Artur. I could not be more thankful for this stylist and happy that he came into my life. I got to him by many recommendations from friends and online reviews. I was looking for a new regular hair stylist because we all women need one. My stylist of 7 years messed up my hair color the last 4 times, so I knew it was time to move on. Although, Artur is the owner of Studio CL his prices on color are not outrages. His prices are even cheaper than some of the quotes I received in northeast/bucks county area. Considering that this salon is in Rittenhouse sq his prices are very reasonable. Be very specific on what you want and you will receive it:)) No other comments to add. Very, very happy with the color I have now. Cant wait to try his amazing famous dry haircuts:))

I met Alexy Kats when I was a model at Phasion Phest years ago. Id no idea who he was - just that he was another sylist doing-up my hair for a show. But when I got home that night - all I could think of was how stunning my hair was. No joke. Seven years later and Ive never looked back. Alexy has NEVER let me down. Every cut, color or blow-out I go in for, and Im walking out to what may as well be Hollywood. My hair is absolutely gorgeous EVERY TIME - cause he wont let me leave if its not. If I could just wrap him up to go home with me and have him do my hair every morning - WOULD BE FANTASTIC. Not to mention I adore (and tease him ) for his resemblance to a dark-haired (perhaps a bit shorter as well) Ryan Phillippe. xoxo Melissa Godshall aka "Cindy"

The color I got I am very content with, however the haircut is not fully what I wanted. I would have asked to have it fixed; I even supplied pictures of what I wanted, and it is not fully that. I did not mention anything due to the fact everything took almost two and a half hours, and I didnt have any time left to have the woman continue for probably another half an hour. I was expecting hour and half to two hours especially considering when I booked the appointment it said hour and half. I think the prices should be listed online, because I have gotten similar haircuts and did not cost nearly as much. For the price so not worth it. Will not ever recommend or come back.

Ive followed Alexey from Manayunk to the Studio CL in Rittenhouse. I started going to him based on a coworkers suggestion 8 or 9 years ago! Yes, its been that long! Once he got his hands on my hair, I will never ever let another person cut or color my hair, he is that amazing with hair! Ive also been to Tanya at the salon and she is equally as fabulous. The staff is amazing, they are always up on the latest trends and tricks to make your hair shiny, bouncy, beautiful & fabulous. I have seen them make men look GQ worthy as well. They are a bit pricey but in my opinion, worth every penny to get quality color and style. They are also the best at Keratin treatments.
