I used them to store a house full of furniture for 7 months. The delivery was made in February and as I finish decorating, I find that almost every piece of wood furniture has damage, my leather sofas have ripped, bare fabric spots. Everyone was nice, but there was not care taken to wrap wood or separate it so that it didnt get damaged. I also got a box that is not mine. I called and told them that there were magazines in the box and gave them the name of the person. No one has every called back and I am about to trash the box. Maybe I should charge for storage. Since there is a $500 deductible for insurance purposes, getting someone to fix everything would cost me money I do not have, so I am stuck with damaged goods. The day I moved there was freezing rain and the movers did not protect my floors so I had a huge messy film on my new floors, also. My large area rug was rolled and stored for 7 months with wrinkles in it and after two months, I still cannot get them bumps out.

We found George W. Weaver & Son, Inc. through our realtor. From the first call to schedule an estimate with Nicole Powers to the very end when our furniture was professionally delivered, this company made a stressful process very simple for us. Nicole went out of her way to answer all of our questions and proactively notified us of obstacles that may have hindered our delivery date plans. Mike Dunn (our driver) and the Phoenix,AZ guys (Dillon and Jason) that unloaded the truck where consummate professionals. They all ensured that upon delivery, everything was unloaded and set up in the rooms that we requested. They should be commended for working in extreme heat and having to walk extra steps due to some work being done to common areas of our condo complex. Id highly recommend this company if you want a reasonable price, professional service and a stress free move!

I realized a wonderful surprise from our move last week, just now. My desk is completely built, when it was incomplete before my move! My desk had been missing 4 pieces of hardware ever since an interstate move (by different mover) in 2009. These included a handle, two file folder hanger bars, and a faux top for the top right drawer. These must have been caught behind one of the drawers, but impossible to notice unless hearing them when carrying the desk. Since the desk handle is not made any more, we had yet to source another since we could not find a close enough match. The other items were on my handyman to-do list, but kept being forgotten. Now, thanks to the Geo. W. Weaver & Sons crew, my desk is better than its been in over 5 years!

We did not have a positive experience with our move. Initially the estimator misunderstood our move time frame which caused our belongings to be stored in their warehouse for four days during the 90 degree weather in July. That resulted in damage to several items. The estimate was not explained very well and we had to pay more than the estimate when we thought the move would come in under the estimate. When our items were delivered some were not placed in the designated areas resulting in us having to move them ourselves. There is more to say, but i am not going to take the time to do that. Based on our experience we would not recommend them to anyone else.

From the initial quote (which was done over the phone and was accurate to the penny) to the move yesterday, my husband and I were beyond pleased with our experience. The crew was efficient, clean, friendly, and delivered our belongings without any damage. They made sure to find out where I wanted each item placed in our new home and even set up multiple beds (one set up with the appropriate headboard). They were careful with fragile and large items. We hopefully will not be moving anytime soon, but wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to all our friends and family! Thank you guys for everything!

My move was handled beautifully by the crew from Weaver & Son. They arrived right on time on moving day, were courteous and entirely professional - every one of the crew went above and beyond in handling my furniture and many many boxes. There was no break in the action from the time they arrived until the last box was in my new home, particularly impressive since everything went down either one or two flights of stairs. The relocation specialist who estimated the job and talked me through the process was patient, kind and lovely to work with. I recommend Weaver & Son without reservation.

The crew from Geo. W. Weaver & Son were wonderful! Eric came out right on time and gave me a fair estimate with upfront pricing for a local move. One business day before the move the company called to confirm. On moving day, the crew arrived right on time and worked hard. As the previous reviewer states, they were courteous and entirely professional. They handled all of my stuff with great care, especially my Grandmothers curio cabinet. I found Geo. Weaver and sons from their advertising on TV. My move was on May 27th. My movers were Daryl and Mark. They were fantastic! I kept thinking that all my stuff would not fit on the truck, but they kept reassuring that it would and it did! I had stuff that was particularly heavy and they moved it with ease. I also had a 1300lb safe that they moved. They were very professional! I would highly recommend these movers!

When the moving technicians came to move our goods, they were professional, friendly, careful and worked with us on placing the furniture where we wanted it.
