Cornerstone has the advantage of being a large gym, which allows for a good offering of yoga classes each day. There are two buildings in the Cornerstone group that have yoga-like practices: the Treehouse (yoga studio with pilates rooms) and Center for Wellbeing (barre yoga, pilates, other hybrid practices). That being said, I only give 3 stars. The main room of Treehouse (which was specifically built to be a yoga studio) does not contain a single mirror. It is a beautiful room but I struggle to work on my form and improve my posing without a mirror. Also, since it is part of a gym, I find that the people in attendance dont seem to take the practice as seriously. There is not silence in the minutes before class begins. I wont knock the gym for that (or even the attendees) but to me it was distracting and took away from my concentration. The classes Ive taken at the Center for Wellbeing I have really enjoyed - if you do yoga and havent tried barre, I highly recommend it for something fun and different!

The front desk staff is always friendly and know most by first name (which is why this is a 2 star instead of a 1 star.) I couldnt be more disappointed in the new gym that they "promised" would be better for us, the members. They hoard all the good equipment in one room that no one is allowed in with unless you pay to have a personal trainer. They had more free moving equipment available before they moved. I also loved the serenity of the tree house which they no longer have.
