I am new to the area and I researched a place to get my hair cut because I wanted to make sure I would get a good hair cut from someone who was capable and would really listen to what I want. This place has great reviews, but this was the worst hair cut I have ever received. We sat down when I got there and we talked about my hair. I was very specific with her about what I didnt currently like and what I wanted to be done. I specifically asked her to leave the front long and cut length off the back- as in a long bob- and she did the exact opposite. Now I have no length in the front and what looks like a large, blunt-cut (which absolutely makes me cringe) rat-tail looking chunk of hair that hangs in the back. Then she put layers on one side of my head that literally look like a two year old took dull scissors and chopped away. There is NO fluidity or curvature or style to what she did to my hair. I also told her that I straighten my hair every other day, so I assumed she would style it that way to make sure it fell the right way - this is normal procedure I think. All she did was give me the worst blow-out Ive ever experienced- my hair was lifeless and flat on my head- then she was done. It felt awful. The second I got home I ran my flat iron over it and could immediately see every single thing that I already hated about my hair that she didnt fix and/or made worse. I have been furious about this for over week now and am only just writing this review because I had to let myself cool down. Even my boyfriend said dont go back to her to have her try to fix it, shell just make it worse. This was only a level 2 haircut, worth $50, but it was the worst $50 Ive ever spent. I cant believe she let me leave her chair looking like I did. Additionally, it was like she was distracted the whole time, not even paying attention to me or what I said, and obviously not to what she was doing to my hair. I dont know if she just has no skill or if she had something else on her mind, but she should not be allowed to cut hair. I know I should have spoken up before I left, but it truly felt like she didnt care and she obviously thought she did a good job. Most horrifying hair experience ever. Dont go here.

Just moved to Media from Center City Philly and started my daunting task of searching for a new stylist. As someone with curly hair this has always been a struggle for me, no one seems to know what do with it! I’ve visited some in the area but never left very happy, they felt too trendy and overpriced. I just want a nice cut in a friendly clean environment, hold the margarita. My visit at Nicholas Sebastian was everything I was hoping for and beyond. My stylist Bridget was so nice and extremely professional and gave me a wonderful cut, so happy with it! She also took the time to style my hair properly and didn’t do a rush job as most stylist have done in the past. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful salon & results! I will recommend this salon to everyone I know looking for a good salon I went here to get a relaxer in my hair because I have had a curly perm in for about 4 months and it was at its dying peak. I needed my hair to be straight, soft and beautiful again. & that is exactly what NICK did!!!! Not only did he inform of the products he was using my hair but he was explaining how they worked and why they worked the way they did. His employee TORIE was also very nice and sweet. all in all, NICK may be a "disgusting human being" but hes a God when it comes to making your hair from fried, dried and ugly to silky, smooth and beautiful!! ive only been at work for 5 mins and so many compliments!

this is hands down the best salon around. they are professional and do a wonderful job on hair and nails but that is just the beginning of the story. I have been to several salons over my lifetime, some for a few years and I have never been to a salon that makes you feel so comfortable, welcome and happy. they always have snacks and drinks, everyone is friendly and cheerful. they are more than happy to accommodate your schedule and your needs. prices are reasonable and if you buy products and are unhappy with them, they encourage you to return them. theres no reason to go anywhere else!

I have been going for about a year or so now and the service is great! I am one of those people who is always nervous about getting their hair cut and Kristy has always done a fabulous job of interpreting my desires, matching it with my hair type, and creating a style that looks great and that I like as well. The one time my hair color was a little off, they corrected the problem free of charge. I have always been very satisfied and recommend their services.

I went to Nicholas Sebastian Solon based on a friend recommendation. I thought no way I only go to a barber!!! That was until I went to NS. It was a great experience. The front desk person was nice and helpful, the stylist gave me great ideas on how to style my hair on a night out on the town (something I never did before) and the conversation was great as well. Also, the price was right.

Christy was amazing and made me feel beautiful! I was very nervous coming to a new hair salon and she really made me feel comfortable. I felt that Chrisy understood what I wanted but most important....what I DONT want....& used her creativity to make me look modern and yet professional. I was really impressed and keep coming back to her for more.

I have been going to Nick for over a year now, and he has consistently given me fantastic cuts. I have short hair, and Im very cautious about who I go to. Once I found Nick, I had a deep sigh of relief and couldnt think about going anywhere else. His staff is all delightful, and my friend from NYC actually comes here to get her hair cut!

I had an appointment with my regular stylist, who is the best, and upon arriving I was told that she was out sick. I was asked if I would like to have someone else do my hair. I went to another stylist and was impressed, she cut my hair perfectly. I would highly recommend any stylist in this salon.

This is a wonderful salon staffed by well-trained and pleasant people. They did the hair and makeup for the bride and bridesmaids at my daughter wedding and all of them were very happy with the results. The owner could not be nicer. I have recommended this salon many times and everyone loves it.
