Im a stylist at this salon and have been in the industry for over 30 years. I must say that Ive never worked with a group of more talented and passionate stylists than at John Andrews Salon in my whole career! From this employees point of veiw, the owners have created a wonderful, supportive, clean, professional environment with a highly-qualified, experienced creative team through emphasis on sharing continuing education and using the highest quality professional products to bring our clients their best hair possible! Im so happy to work with these lovely, sweet, creative people and Im so proud to bring my clients here!

I had gone to another salon for years till my hairdresser moved. I read the great reviews for John Andrews Salon online so I called and they gave me an appointment the next week. I have almost waist length hair. I went in and saw Michelle. She listened to me and we also discussed what to do for my new sprout of gray hair. For my long hair full foil highlights, cut, blow dry, and style was $165. Can I even tell you how much money I saved? I have paid well over 200 for the past 5 years. My hair looks great and the other women I saw walking out looked great too! I’m a very happy client!

I had a nice experience. I wanted to clean myself up for an office holiday party and this salon was close to home with good reviews from Citysearch, so I decided to try it. Kimberly gave me a really perfect French manicure - and Haeley gave me a lovely blow-dry. The receptionist was friendly, on the phone and in person. The salon looked clean and organized and modern inside. I think Ill come back when my hair needs a trim ... Im trying to find a new salon in the suburbs so that I dont have to make a big trip downtown.

I called this salon after reading good reviews on various sites and made an appointment with Lauren. I had lived in the area for about 10 years and never noticed this salon before, but when I walked in I was very impressed. Everyone was professional and very accommodating from the front desk to the hairdresser. Lauren really listened to what I wanted in my consult, then gave me a great cut. Its been a few weeks and its growing in wonderfully, which is the sign of a good cut!

I asked for balayage and was talked into foils, and was charged for a full & a partial because she used 2 colors?!? Then the scissors came out and she put so many layers in my hair I now look like a pageant mom. I had a big event that weekend, and now am forced to flat iron my hair to get it to lay down because its at such an awkward length, with so many choppy layers. I really felt like crying when I left. Cost well over $200!!! NEVER AGAIN
