Quality Good Palmyra Location only (Not a member at other locations/never used other locations): Pros- Gym and locker rooms generally kept pretty clean. Friendly / polite staff. Enough quantity and variety of equipment to suit current user volume and aerobic / weight training needs. Price (Currently paying $10/month initial fees, which were average for gyms offering one time membership initial fees) Cons- Equipment maintenance could be better. There are always a few pads, cushions, grips that need repair, adjustment, or replacement. Whats so difficult about the staff inspecting the equipment once a day and the owners getting the stuff fixed instead of ignoring it for monthes? For example, 2 or 3 machines have had their hand grips slip out of position for months now. It would cost the owners next to nothing to reposition the grips properly. Either the owners dont keep spare seat and pads &/or covers or their too cheap to use them. This is either poor management or nickle dime cheap asp owners. The juice bar prices are outrageous. The noise some people call music is horrible. It would be better if they just turned that mindless, thumping, way-to-loud broken record satellite radio off. Always wondered who decides what gets played at gyms and what if anything they base their choice on. Please note that the above Con comments pretty much apply to every gym Ive ever been in, although the one at Lebanon Valley College was a lot better but way more expensive. Quality rating would be VG, if the equipment was kept in better repair. It would be E, if equipment was kept in better repair, juice bar was more reasonably priced, music was better or turned off,

They hit you with excessive charges when cancelling. Lost my credit card and they charged me a fee. Put through cancellation paperwork and a month later was billed. Poor customer service on the phone when calling their billing center in Canada. Stay away. Better gyms are around. Also they have s 40 day cancel period. Which means they ding you another monthly fee even After you cancel. What a rip off. That additional fee was not explained when the cancellation paperwork was processed. Poor customer service by the gym representative. Oh and they double charged me in June to the tune of $80.00. Stay away.
