Unreliable. Not a word you want describing a vendor for your wedding reception. I rented the upper floor of a popular restaurant in center-city Philadelphia for a 3-hour Saturday evening dinner from 5-8pm. I was told the flowers would be delivered by 4pm, ready to be placed by their staff as soon as the restaurant gave the word. The restaurant gave us access to the space at 4:10pm, with the flowers yet to have arrived. My mother and the restaurant called every 10 minutes and were repeatedly told the flowers were on their way, but they still did not arrive by the start of the event at 5pm. Due to the restricted space, we could not let guests fill the space before the flower delivery. The flowers finally arrived around 5:20pm, and my mother, mother-in-law, and several other guests had to frantically unpack and set the majority (if not all) of the flowers as the delivery people brought them in. My 3-hour wedding reception dinner was delayed by nearly 30 minutes. In addition to making my guests wait in a cramped space and outside to be allowed in, the value of that lost time was over $3,000. Not to mention the priceless time lost visiting with friends and relatives who traveled for my wedding reception. After a lengthy correspondence with this company, they would only refund the delivery fee of around $200. They said they were late due to a road closure because of the Rittenhouse Arts Festival- A major annual event which a center city florist would be aware of and for which road closures were posted weeks in advance. I would not trust this company for your wedding.

Simply beautiful was what we wanted and was exactly what we got! From the bouquets to the ceremony décor to the centerpieces, it was all perfect. Alicia worked closely with us through the process and was great at making a few cost effective suggestions that didn’t lower the quality a hair because of her ability to understand us along with her clear depth of experience. Several days before the wedding it became clear the weather might not have been conducive to our outdoor ceremony at WaterWorks and without asking, we were informed of the additional measures they were taking to adapt the tall arrangements from blowing over to give us a little extra piece of mind. The close relationship of Beautiful Blooms with Cescaphe was an added perk. The detail and presentation of the flower delivery at our hotel the day of the wedding was the perfect way to start the day. We could not have been happier with everything!

I hired Beautiful Blooms to provide the flowers for my wedding after having a wonderful experience working with the owner, Donna, on the VIP lounge for Fashion Week in September 2009. Again, she exceeded my expectations!! Donna offered suggestions based on her intimate knowledge of the current growing season and flower choices ideal for consistency across the various arrangements. A week or two before the wedding, we dropped a guest table and Beautiful Blooms was gracious and flexible in replacing it with an exquisite arrangement for our ceremony arbor, which ended up being the crowning centerpiece for our nuptials. Furthermore, Donnas assistant, Amanda was extremely responsive and helpful during the planning process. Both of them were an absolute pleasure to work with!

Absolutely amazing! We couldnt be happier with how everything turned out and continue to receive compliments from friends and family members about how gorgeous all of our floral arrangements were! Jackie was wonderful- she was a joy to work with and seemed truly invested in our wedding. She was able to see our vision and help us bring it all to life, all with a smile. I love the fact that BB has a working studio. I was able to come in for my consultation and see the staff working on designs for another wedding and it inspired me to change some of my ideas for my wedding. They were very prompt in getting me my quote and stayed right on my budget! The weeks before my wedding I decided to make some last minute details to the decor and the staff at BB were very obliging and nice about it. My wedding was beautiful and the memories that BB helped create for me that night will forever be in my mind. Thank you so much Beautiful Blooms!!!

ARROGANT & DISHONEST, I was very disappointed with Donna, she is clearly talented but she also very arrogant and doesnt listen very well. If you have a very big budget and are OK deferring everything to Donna, this might be a good place for you to go. If you have an ideas too, you will find her frustrating to work with. She has "selective listening" and was extremely overpriced. I am also a little suspicious about all of the positive ratings being logged so closely together, might be an effort to offset the negative rating someone dared to enter. Arrogant!

Everyone at Beautiful Blooms is wonderful to work with. They come up with ideas that no one else could possible think of. If anyone is planning a special event they are the ones to go to. They have been rated as the Best of Philly and have appeared in endless magazines. Their new shop which is located a few blocks away at 1021 N. 3rd Street has so many great things to buy. They are always getting in new things. If you need to send an arrangement they will come up with one that is unusual.

From the time I met Donna Ive known her to pay attention to detail, to run her business with the utmost respect for what her clients need and the look they are trying to achieve. Her creativity is her passion, give her a theme and she will run with it and come back to you with results that will floor you. Her staff has always been extemely helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this creative team of designers for your next event!

Beautiful Blooms was fantastic to work with! We used them for our lighting and flowers at the Curtis Center and they couldnt have been better. The planning was a joy and they were very detailed oriented. They took great care of me and my whole family during the process. They were very punctual the day of the wedding and everything looked amazing! I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in the Philadelphia area!

We used Beautiful Blooms for our wedding and everything was gorgeous. They were so easy to work with, explained everything in detail, and played nicely within our budget. Our designer Noel took the few ideas we gave him and ran with it to make the space and all our flowers beautiful. I loved working with Donna and her team. I paid for excellent work and service and received nothing less than the best. The team listened to my vision, needs, etc. and truly made my wedding the most memorable day ever. The flowers and decor were so elegant and highlighted all the natural beauty of the sites that day. I cannot recommend Beautiful Blooms highly enough. Though this business only provided me with a single bouquet, its execution was exemplary.
