Our front basement wall collapsed in December,2013 after one of that years snowfalls.I needed a contractor badly. I found Mr Contractor both in the yellow pages and on Angies list. After throughly reviewing all the reviews as well as those of other contractors, I initally contacted Mr Contractor and remain thankful that I did. Steve scheduled an appoinment to assess the basement wall as well as the front exterior wall, the existing windows and the front patio:all needed reinforcement to safely stabalize the stone front exterior of my home which was built in 1925.. Steve explained clearly, with much patience what needed to be done and politely answered all my questions.I had a lot of questions! The crew of workmen were able to begin work before the end of the year (2013) The workers arrived on schedule ,sometimes even continuing to work on the exterior wall at least once after the sky had grown dark. They put in a full days work everyday including New Years Eve. They acted like professionals at all times. The crews supervisor,Tyrone, would appear periodically to determine the progress and to ask whether I had any concerns which I never had. The finished product has given my family a safer home which is also very pleasing to the eye not to mention the energy savings in oil heating costs. The neighbors and others also appeared to approve of the remodeling being completed were observed approaching the work crew to obtain Mr Contractors contact information. I intend to soon contact this company for work on my roof due to the numerous episodes of inclement weather lately in our area. All in all , I remain very satisfied with the work of Mr Contractor and would recommend him highly for all contractor and remodeling needs.

Strongly advise against using Mr. Contractor. Lonnie came out to take a look at replacing my back door frame. He quoted me a price, took a deposit and then never called to schedule the job. I called about three weeks later and got the job scheduled. Unfortunately I was away on business while the work was being done. I came home to find what looked like the job I would have done if I had done the work myself. Sloppy work all around, from the minor damage done the inside frame when the old screen door was removed to very sloppy caulking around the new molding installed, including several spots where the caulking didnt fill the gap between the stucco and molding. Well I called about this and Lonnie came back out to take a look armed with a caulk gun and a tube of clear caulk. I pointed out the areas where the caulking didnt fill the gap between stucco and molding. He spent 5-10 minutes patching various areas. After he left, I went outside to take a look at the job and found that he hadnt even filled the few areas I pointed out. I called back again and left a message for him. That was two weeks ago and no one has called me back since. So, to sum it up, sloppy workmanship and really poor customer service.

I cannot even begin to describe how amazed I was with the finished product and the professionalism throughout the remodel. I first heard of Mr. Contractor, Inc. from a friend who used them before. After researching the company, seeing their Ad in the phone book and visiting their on line website I felt more confident to schedule an appointment. After going over the scope of the work and discussing ideas, I received a free quote right away. I had been shopping around and had other estimates. Having experienced nightmare situations with contractors, I was perfectly content to hire a good priced contractor that displayed honesty and professionalism. I was not mistaken in my choice. Mr. Contractor, Inc. was always on time, worked hard, kept the work areas clean and finished the job on schedule. I hired them to replace several windows, install a new roof and remodel my kitchen. The staff and subcontractors were top notch. The finished results were beyond amazing. All my friends, family and neighbors were jealous. I have since referred them to everyone I know. Your diligence and follow-through was very much appreciated. Thanks to you, your company and your associates. I am delighted with the results!

Mr.Contractor, just completed 3 different projects in my home. When,I decided to have some work done in my home,I was understandably nervous about finding a contractor, that I can trust to do a good job, I had a few estimates from different contractors and I tried to do some research on each one. I heard some positive comments about Mr. Contractor and when I spoke with Barry, he put me at ease that he would make sure the job was done to my satisfaction. They just completed my bathroom renovation, cemented my basement, redid my yard and figured out how to install a washer and dryer in my basement, which wasnt equipped for one.Barry, was always calling and coming over to make sure everything was going smoothly and always called back,if I had a concern. The people.who work for him, were courteous, hard working and professional. They, cleaned up after themselves and any problems that came up I was informed before any action was taken.I would recommend,Mr. Contractor,to anyone who is interested in having a good contracting experience.I plan on having them do more work for me.

Total rip off. They installed crown molding without the corner pices I asked for and left it with all of the exposed nail holes and a rough prime coat of paint. They were required to build a small minimal box to cover an exposed wire and instead built a large, rough box, unpainted with unfinished seams that covered my radiator pipes (which I expressly stated were to be left exposed) and left 3 feet of ugly wire exposed. They failed to plan the job and wanted access to measure the living room 3 times. We were told that "Ken", the owner, personally manages every job, takes workers to the site and tells them exactly what to do. On the contrary, three stange men showed up form a sub contracted company who had no idea about arrangements. They left food in my fridge which I found strange and unprofessional. There is no point in using this company. Do yourself a favor and just deal directly with your sub contrcators in each area required. Mr. Contractor is not competant.

This is long overdue, but we wanted to thank you and everyone at Mr. Contractor for the excellent work you did on our kitchen remodel and backyard deck. As you may remember, we considered different approached for a year before meeting with you and hiring Mr. Contractor to work on our kitchen. It was absolutely the right decision. Joe and Victor, and everyone who worked on the lighting, electric,. plumbing and painting were professional and efficient, and the quality of the work far exceeded our expectations. We recently put our house on the market, and in the first few weeks we had more inquiries about who had worked on the kitchen than offers on the house! Although we were relocating to Washington DC and will not be able to continue enjoying the kitchen, we would be happy to recommend Mr. Contractor to future customers. Please feel free to share this letter and pass on our contact information if you need a reference. Sincerely, Fred & Liz OBrien

I called them to get estimated for jobs i need done for the house. They said they can do it. The estimate was for $5600 and they wanted half deposit which is $2800. I wanted an interior French door install in the kitchen 38 x 78 and fences install around my back yard since the estimate was combined for both job I didnt bother to have the price broke down. They said theyll get back to me in 4 weeks because they had other job going on. Ok 4 weeks went by no call or anything. I had to reach out to them Steve told me that he can install the door but dont have a schedule for the fence. They install the door three days later telling me his guy is ill and hes gonna refund me my deposit for only $2000. They charge me $800 for single panel French door that is sold in homedepot for $200. I wrote emails to Steve and got no response. I needed more work done but I guests they dont care about customer Thanks Steve Spector.
